George Smith looked damn good on Saturday. And frankly I have yet to see this guy not contribute. It's true, when he was operating in weak Aussie packs, he was sometimes bested by McCaw or Schalk. But on a level playing field, he is about as good a player on the deck as I have seen. The critics have sometimes been a bit harsh, but I think they have missed the non dominant pack issue.

Great to see an oldster like this playing with such passion.

Right you have to be a real gorrila to get the better of daniel, kan kan, burden and Coetzee. Bwahhahahahahahahahaha. Too many show ponies oaks too many. Coetzee best of this quartet.

Yet still wee daniel has to stay on as captain. He was totally absent. Yet his adoring fans raise no criticism. ou maaaik who has no clue as to what forward play is about just cant see it. He fails to grasp the fatal consequences to backline play of a pack going backwards  - think Dunedin and Twicks.

I have said it before and say it once more. Unless you have forward domination you cant play the likes of daniel. Even if you do have forward domiantion be careful not to throw it away by including the daniels of the world.

Meyer wisely let him go. Hugely unfortunate as daniel has plenty of heart but is simply outgunned as were half of the sharks pack who were also fast asleep. This formed a fatal cocktail and now the Brumbies are going to slaughter the Stormers as were the wee chifies before them. Hahahahhahahahahahahahaha its all very entertaining stuff.

Expect a tough match - no slaughter. Allistair had better get his selections right.
