I complained about the TMO in the Rebels vs Stormers match...so I'd be remiss not to note the  performance of George Coetzee. The Scots may have been on thin ice, but the yellow was scarcely justified....handbags. And his call examining the Scottish try on the supposed obstruction would have denied Scotland, if the ref hadn't taken charge. There was no  consequential interference...the player who was supposedly obstructed made the tackle.  Poor stuff.

- - I'd also add the commentary today was pretty one eyed. Bobby who I admired as a player, is turning into a shill as a l commentator. He is a smart observer, but his anxiety to show the colours is biasing his analysis. We don't need that, we need a clear head, not a bleeding heart. - - And Joel's call at the half that: "we are going to win", hardly bespeaks of analytical objectivity. Presumably this feed was going back to Scotland and must have irritated them. It certainly did me. _ _ Nobody expects commentators to be pulling for the other team, but when the Scots didn't fall over and follow the script, the frustration in the box was palpable. I'd hate to think we were headed in the Aussie direction.
