I'm aware of the limitations of highlight videos, but there were some nice touches here. As slippery as ever, and good passing in tight quarters; good awareness for those around him. Maybe Rassie is onto something here.

I've always enjoyed watching Aplon, a little guy with a big heart but I don't see the point of using him for an Autumn tour.

Rassie should be looking at some of the younger guys to come through after Le Roux.

Combrink or even Coetzee (eugh) would be better as at least they'll go through to Japan 2019.

Aplon appears to be a equaliser in terms of POC while Gelant is injured. Why not Bosch? This is the time to try add some depth to the squad.

I thought Gelant was patchy against Wales. Bosch was a little better. Is Combrinck fast enough? He is the smarter of the three. It's tough, nobody really relocates what Willie brings to the team. Maybe Aplon comes closest. I'd probably lean more towards Combrinck.

I think we can all agree, no more Willemse at 15!

Bosch might be the answer in terms of a 2nd 1st receiver and defensively He's no worse then Le Roux.

Willie has also owned the skies of late which is something we have yet to see from any of the afore mentioned.

Willemse is s real threat from 15 with time and space, I'm not sure about him at 10 but he's also an option for another 1st receiver.

Agreed, he is a deadly runner, I'm not so sure about his positional awareness.

I haven't seen a great deal of Bosch outside of his two tests.

At least we have options to discuss. The breadth of talent is the deepest it's been for quite some time.

This looks like a touch rugby session. No handbag stuff, a team of weaklings.
