Gio Aplon's injury....

.....and his move to the NH, limits the number of times we will still see this small dynamo in Stormers colours. That's our big loss, there are few more inspiring sights in rugby than watching Aplon step, accelerate and shake off much bigger men. Incredibly he rarely got hurt in spite playing a much more physical game than Breyton. His injury on Saturday looked horrendous. I was watching with a medical boffin who opined that the elbow rarely gets that far out of joint without a fracture...so in a way it was lucky.and maybe we will see one more of those great Aplon tries before his race at the Stormers is done.
