Great power performance by the Boks in particular the pack.........when the Boks get it right they are unstoppable, just wish we could find the consistency as the AB's do.

Loved Meyer's passion and emotion.

As for the players, Etzebeth is huge and I'm beginning to think  he is as good as Matfield in the line-outs.......you cant beat that take and offload to Pienaar in one motion......the man is pure class. Bismark was huge as were Alberts and Vermeulen. Alberts needs to turn up like that in every game.

Flip gave a penalty or two away but a vast improvement on Kruger, the man has the grunt we crave at test level. Louw was the least imprerssive of our forwards, he had yet another quiet game but was solid enough.

In the backs, Pienaar's service was good and Jean had a good game, as did the impressive Willie. The least impressive was Morne, but he did the job.

Great performance, now lets make sure we do the same to the AB's.

I'm not often wrong but sometimes take great joy in being wrong as I was today.......I hope Meyer continues to prove me wrong but history tells me otherwise.

1. Meyer is not a useless coach who has no understanding of the modern game?

2. The majority of the players in the team are the not wrong, and that the team should not actually be made up of young players who are not even first choices for their province?

Stick to your fantasy team selections that have bias to younger players, and comparing a established test players performance at international level to a youngster in a curry Cup performance.

This is the best performance in history of the Boks in Australia, and the first time that a game has been won at the Fortress of Australian rugby.

 This is the best run of wins since Nick Mallet in 1998 where he inherited an experienced team from his predessor.

 Well done to the Boks. very powerful performance up front which completely choked Oz out of the game.

Should be a cracker vs the ABs in Auckland next week, especially with Richie gone from the tournament.

Saffex is right on the button with the consistency call....too often the Boks follow a good win with a lethargic performance. I was at the ABs game last night and they never really got into top gear in a lethargic performance of their own. A big mistake taking 3 points late in the game instead of going for the bonus point try in my opinion as Argentina were never looking capable of scoring 2 more tries to beat us.

What did you guys think of the Bok yellow card? I thought it was ludicrous...a bloke can't seem to stick his hand out to catch the ball now without a stupid ref calling it a deliberate slap down! It definitely wasn't yellow card material.

 Moolaa, AB's were not lathargic in my opinion, I just think they became frustrated as the weather was not conducive to their game plan. All week they would have trained in pretty good conditions. Rain was not expected. I can imagine their whole preparation for the game would have revolved around a clear night and running rugby. Last thing they wanted was a forward struggle with Argies and unfortunately rain brings that on.

You could see them trying to play total rugby but andling errors and slippery underfoot conditions hindered them from really "taking off." I think the weather is the only thing that stopped NZL putting 50 on the board.

Lets hope for a clear night in Auckland next Saturday. We dont want an error strewn game. We want the best team on the night to win and be thoroughly entertained in the process. Not some wet, war of attrition where 1 try could be enough!

Regarding the yellow. Absolute bullshit. After that we saw Genia put his leg out in an offside position from a scrum and knock Ruan's pass down and we saw Hooper do the same thing Alberts did for just a penalty.

All we ask for is consistency. Pedantic refs will be just that but at least be consistent if nothing else.

Next weekend, lets hope for clear skies, a competent and consistent refereeing trio and one of the great AB Bokke test matches decided by the players and no one else. We want no excuses of poor refereeing.

Apparently most of the provinces are going to publish new signing from the under21s clubs in a few weeks, so you will be able to read the website and then regurgitate it all here. 

Then when one of the players does well, your were the first to indentify them on a website of new signings from the Under21 teams. 

You will still back all the others to replace Springbok greats with over 50 tests, even though many of these players will not even become regulars in SuperXV.

Saffex profile picture is about 10 years out of date, and this is picture was taken recently when Saffex found Eztebeth.

In Saffex profile picture he is sitting on the toilet that used to be outside,

but that is now unfortunately to far from the computer. 

The long term plan is to have a pipe from the computer directly into the toilet in the back of the screen, as not space for Saffex to fit through the door anymore.

Meyers first year was crap. It started with selecting too many under par Bulls players and out of form players like Morne and Hougaard in 2012. 

Although is was clear as the year progressed that the Boks defence improved. 
Also the breakdown has gradually been improving from starting as a shambles.

Meyer has admitted mistakes, and also aknowleged that the key problems are still the breakdown and the backline attack.

No drum beating yet Fagex but your insistence that the players are wrong is wrong. You just want your young favourites on the field even if this means no place for Habana and Jean. As soon as coach does not choose your young favourites you hate the coach.
