Todays game was a total eye-opener - Edinburgh is top of the pool log in the Champions Cup at present and beat Glasgow today in the Pro14 Comp.
So what is making the difference in the team? It centers around the four SA players in the Edinburgh starting line-up, So lets see what happened:-
* The two props of Edinburgh Nel and Schoeman) demolished the Glasgow scrumming resulting in strings of penalties for Edinburgh
* Pierre Schoeman was the MOM both for his scrumming as well as his carries and defense
* Van der Walt - who was never recognized as a good flyhalf because he had to play second game converted three penalties and the try of Edinburgh (11 of the Edinburgh 16 points)
* Duhan van der Merwe was carefully watched and rarely got the ball 0 but was nevertheless good in carries and defense.
So many losses to SA rugby because of referee imbecility. Ludeke, Meyer and Coetzee will cost us dearly for a long time,
