Good on Bakkies

 Hoor hoor!! It was however overdue and I am disappointed Bakkies actually stayed as long as he did. P recious time has been wasted.Bakkies though was one of the all time great locks. 

 Bakkies did the honourable thing and quitted before he further mar his illustrious career by insipid performances.  he realized he could not keep up with the younger generation of locks.  What a contrast to th morons on this site who does not realize it.
I think there are a few other players who should do the same - because deficient performances will not convince Meyer that they should be told to go.   Those include players like Matfield and Jannie.

At least Bakkies is honest and truthful and has the humility and manliness to step down...yes one of the greatest locks,knowing that the time has come to bow out...if only John Smit did, and Victor and Morne Steyn have these qualities...all great players but make room for the future...it calls for unselfishly let the game evolve and flow. Ego s trip some people up and sometimes coaches don't help but patronise favourites.
