De Villiers was shit poor on Saturday - not only in defence. That would not be so alarming but for the fact that he was poor the previous week as well. Despite Mozart musings - they cannot continue with De Villiers the way he played in the two matches.
Problem is that the replacement is not clear at all - Witless Steyn is not the answer and Serfontein has been disappointing as well. The only 12 that really showed up well was De Allende.

There is no way in the world that De Villiers played even a reasonable game in the last two Rounds - matter of fact he was extremely poor. If that is to continue there are serious doubts as to his further career as a Springbok.
However he is in bad company - other than De Allende - the rest was poor as well. Saffex refuses to admit that his favourites (Serfonteim JJ and Witless Hog) are no reasonable options as well - so we have a case here of a road to nowhere.
