Both will be in the Cheetahs team to play the Sharks this weekend and that presents me with a real problem as to my selections for the week. But anyway - it is excellent news and I hope they are over their injury problems. Will always be top players if they are. If they get to the Super Series without any problems - we will have two excellent players for the tests series of 2013.
Goosen and Oosthuizen
Both are on the verge of being labelled injury-prone, especially Goosen, at such a young age.
@mikey,
how do u know both are a available for both tests this weeked, especially goosen??? i remeber that gossen wasnt named in the preseasosn match against the bulls, so unless they played another preseason game before then, goosen still hasnt played any games since he reinjured himself last year???
im only asking cos goosen was one of three flyhalves who was worth his weight in gold in our fantasy rugby, i would consistently have him, c leilafano, cruden and SBW all floating around with various combinations.
leilafnao was pretty shit against the reds, cruden puts a serious dent in the budget and SBW is no longer there, which leaves goosen ripe for the picking.
connie is also anothe rgreat option, but i havent been impressed with him one bit since he moved to tighthead. it may be good for his neck, but not for his performances IMO.

Just go to the home site of this site and you will find the announcement there. That is what I based this thread on. I am also planning to phase in Goosen - initially to the Testrugby team - but that wll have to wait until next week. Then I will probably replace Pocock with a cheaper player - if h e still does produce small point allocations this week and will have the funds to bring on Goosen.
Want to give Pocock on more hance - but that may backfire on me. What do you think? This week I hink Godwin will be a point cow against the Kings - that is why I want to keep him for the week. Against stronger teams opposing the Force I would prefer Goosen though.
@mikey,
just read the article on the cheetahs website and now i got some big question marks over goosen.
he has only just started trainging with the cheethas after that injury in the All Blacks game (off alot longer then carter was BTW -_o) and drotske is considering starting him against ther sharks???
while kicking for goal, his heel was again giving him issues???
considering this is from the cheetahs homepage, drotske must be a complete tool if he plays goose from anywhere except the bench. goose needs to be gradually eased into the team one step ata time IMO.
i think i will hold off on goosen for now, as there are still concerns that his body is not able to meet the physcial demands of this level of rugby.
@mikey,
IMO pocock will come right in the long run, but i have to admit im having similar dilemmas with wether to pick him or not, mainly because hes so expensive & theres a lot of logic in selecting others who have as big a chance of performing with out the back breaking price tag.
if i choose to sub him out now, that will help me out big time with my transfers, so quite a conundrum.
i think the kings best chance of winning will be this weekend, but i no longer have the same strength in my convictions after watching the brumbies play the rebels last week. also i noticed that hadleigh parks and adongo is on the bench, so i was very unimpressed with those selectionsa and have doubts about the kings now.
godwin is in my testrugby.com team, and he is also in strog consideration for my foxsport team, it will be between him and lambie.

Agree with you about Goosen - am hanging back for a week to see whehter he can kick at goal accurately - do not ant another Lealifano in my squad. Godwin seems to look good against the Kings - but if Goosen comes right I will pick him ahead of Godwin next week.
Keeping back on Pocock for one more week as well. I think the Rebel forwards are not really their strong point and Pocock may show more against them than he did against the Reds.That is also why I am replacing Robinson with Strauss this coming weekend.
