After Goosen's year long sabbatical he didn't last long...the poor chap is out for 2 months with an ankle strain.

He was playing some good rugby, but again his body lets him down. Serfontein recently returned too, he's has scored 2 tries in as many games and is looking like the type of player that can help us with our center issue.

The only centre issue we have is Damian. That said, Serfontein would be good. Can cover 12 and 13. In fact, his defence at 13 is rock solid. André and Serfontein could be the step forward.
Goosen has too slight a frame. One can only get so big without compromising structural integrity. His small bones limit him. I don't think we have any room for him anyway. We have better options at 10 and 15. That said, it'll be nice for him to have a few years free from injury. Let him their end where we he is.

I'd have him in his preferred position at 12 as there's such a large gap between himself and his deputy. At 13 there's a contest between Kriel and Am to secure the position and there's Simelane for the distant future.
