Great debut for Pat Howard

Have always rated this kid and maintained he should have been playing S15 rugby a year ago. Great try and partnership with de Allende who was also very good.

WP need to find a tighthead and some locks with grunt. Ruan Botha is one option once back from injury, they need to find a 4.

Frik Kirsten and Morne Mellett were huge in the scrums under the new laws. I rate these two young props highly, in particular Kirsten at 3.

surprised the stormers couldnt win this with so many of the bulls on Bok duty and injured, but griquas ensures its not the biggest upset of the CC round, infact given how close the lions were in beating the cheetahs, it was a round of unexpected results.

Have to agree Saffex, De Allende and Pat combined well. The bulls back was incredible, the completely destroyed WP tight 5, not sure if it was because they had light weight back rowers, but on evidence from the bulls is that with the new scrum laws you need some serious beef up front.

Kolbe was rubbish, don't rate him at all. Good little stepper but that is about it. Missed loads of tackle and got folded in half by the bulls 9 in a tackle. 

Why the bloody hell is Burton Claasens even in the team. Adds absolutely nothing. 

 Kolbe looked like a boy playing a mans game. Got man handled.

This young Bulls side has players in it that are better than those on test duty or injured, so not surprised to see them do well.

The WP tightfive has no grunt other than Kitshoff, therein lies the problem

 Kolbe is highly talented but needs to play scrummie. But to realise that the coach needs more than two lonely brain cells.

Yep with Bekker gone, Quin Roux history, Malherbe and Tiaan not there together with Vermuelen Burger and Francois Louw who is NOT coming back having signed for Bath and with Armand having left etc etc etc.I can find not a single reason why one would think one could build a top side with these goings on  - not to mention the bacjline talent squandered!

and how did the ref perform, i ask cos rasta is prob the best 7s ref in the world and want to know how he went with a 15 man game.

 Sas, playing Kolbe at 15 would have made no difference, he still would have been thrown around like a rag doll. He was not poor he just looked physically way out of his depth.

Rasta was damn good as a ref
