Apparently there is nothing wrong with him and he will be able to play on Saturday.   However, the decision on Alberts and Lambie as to playing will only be taken on Wednesday - so we must hold outr thumbs on that one.

He and Etzebeth could establesh themselves as one of the most feared combos in world rugga if they continue to improve as they have game after game.

Its great to see some locks coming through after Bakkies, Victor and Danie.

In Juandre, Eben and Elsdedt we have some really good athletes to choose from.

And for a change we have good depth in a few key possies...

Lock, flyhalf, loose trio (as per usual) and in a couple of years, i think we'll also have a few good centers to represent the Boks too!

Nice to be a Bok supporter right now!

Please gentlemen Juandre will never be a feared lock - 110 kg a kilo lighter than Shalk Burger.

The locks  who may cause fear are Eben, Quin Rouz, Flip, Willemse at 127 kg. Elstadt looks to be findng a spot at 7 and could become an alltime great  there. Rediculous that he never made the sqaud.

I cant wait to see a full strength Stormers pack taking opposition sides apart and showing SA fans where our competitive advantage is.

Beeno, Willemse is a perfect example of a flaw in your obsession with size. Damn the kid is Big.

As well as, slow, cumbersome and can't jump in  linout as well as more difficult to supprt. He is tooo big!!!

Hell, Du Toit is a hundred times the lock he is. Has pace, ecxelleration and is Physical. I don't know what you guys see in only size and wheight.

Mark Twian had a great saying- It's not the size of the Dog in the fight, It's the size of the fight in the Dog.

Yes we don't want tiny kiddies running around, but have some perspective, don't let the weight be the only thing you see.

Willemse has probably outgrown his strength. Watch him in future. What we know is the Argies dispite all their fight got blown away in the semis.

What you and other oaks miss is that it is quite possible to get a lot of fight in a big dog. when this happens the little dog comes off second best.

The argies were branded a tough pack. BUT they were outweighed by 8kgs a man and look what happened. They were blown off the park by the bigger more powerful and agressive baby boks. why anyone would think when picking a natioanal side you cant find big gwith plenty of fight in them is a mystery. Sheer lunacy.

Meyer fortunately understands all this and will be cautious in seelcting small players. They will be exceptions proving the rule

I have quoted this before but here it is again by Sean Fitzpatrick - The Boks competitive advantage is their big alhletic men. These big men have plenty of fight in them and ruled the rugby world pre isolation.

Be assured Ek locks like Juandre have skills I agree but they do not inspire fear. Give me two Bakkies Botha anyday.

We had snapaster telling us how great daniels was etc. He did zip. He has lots of fight in him but is coming up aganst guys much bigger than him who also have lots of fight in them as well. so he stars as an extra backlie player. His days of test rugby look to be about over. Pat Cilliers is another little dog with lots of fight in him, as was hargreaves, but they couldnt beat the big dogs with lots of fight in them. matfield conned the sa rugbyfan we couldn't do without him in the lineout. What utter rubbish.

No more nonsense about the fight in the dog please EK. FInd the big althletic guy with fight in them. End of story. No one should ever play for the boks unless he has fight in him period. A good big un beats a good little un end of story.

Honestly Beeno bieng pedantic about 8 kg's per man is irrelevant. an 8 kg difference per man is negligible. It doensn't make such a big diffenerence as you claim. What played against Argentina is not the fact that they were outweighed. they lost Focus. They spent so much time on off the ball niglys trying to intimidate that they forgot to play the game. They weren't focused on what they needed, Typical fight in the Dog thing. Yes A bog dog can also have fight. But i'll rather pick the dog with the fight irrelevant on if he is the biggest dog or not. Commitment and dedication to your team count for more than 8 kg's per person.
