Many years ago  when Rassie coached Free State to two Currie Cup wins I told the oaks he was a brilliant rugby mind. So it has proved.

DA showed his complete game for the first time in a long while today. Beautiful drawing and passing instead of just burrowing head down. What a waste to have him play like that when he is capable of so much more.

Can't fault Rassie for what the Boks came up with today, and I have no problem faulting myself for doubting he was going to turn the way we play around. We not only won, we won playing good rugby. Can't ask for more than that.

Your centres are still pretty crap Pakie. A good midfield woulda killed us inside 20 but it did enough in the end. Mapimpi was awesome and Willie was money. faf, Willie, Mapimpi... thats the backs... andPollard was wayy better than I gave him credit for. The rest was all the tight 5 and Verm eulen.

I laufged when Mostert came on. well that didnt work out for us.

I never thought SA would win by such a wide margin.   It never happened before -

*   in 1995 it was by 3 points - no tries scored; 

*   in 2007 it was by  9 points - no tries scored; and

*   in 2019 it was by 20 points - 2 tries scored

What a star team and coach SA have.

We played stupid rugby in that first half tried to come out running like the kiwi game. It was so easy to pick us off. I thought wed come out more conservative and win for territory but it didnt happen. It took us out of the game. Blew three quality chances!!! 

Rosie you can win when your pack is outgunned. 

Also told the oaks this backline is better than some think. 

Expected Rassie would change tactics.
