Well, this will be interesting. A bit of relief from the injury but and a bit of know how and this could change the dynamic quite a bit. Australia have the tools to be very dangerous even now. Good decision. Jones is about the only chance Australia have of being a presence at the world cup.

Oh wow, absolutely brutal by Australia, but then again. Rennie has not set the world alight and with only a 33% record. Not good for a country like Australia.

Then again. their teams have been poor for many years now.

Not to mention all the imports from the Islands. They have the most players from outside the country playing for them.

Not sure if the Australians are picking other sports over rugby such Aus rules, Cricket, Soccer, Rugby League and even Corn Hole, yes corn hole.

Not sure how Eddie is going to resurrect this team, but then again, he is better when he comes in with fresh Ideas.

Oh, I would pay money to see Eddies Australia take on England in the WC

I would have Eddie over Rassie any day. Just imagine our pack and an Ozzie backline.

Eddie as an attack coach with Rassie and Nieners would have been M'WAH manifique.

Australia have the second most depth in the backline of the SH sides, after Argentina. With Hooper, and a Kerevi, he could have a well timed purple patch of mayhem.

If he could get Skelton and that tighthead prop that worked the Boks over in 2021 fully fit….Oz could be a force. They have a 3/1 record against Harrassmiss since the WC.

Eddie is probably a better fit for Aus than anyone who has come after him since his previous stint.

That is correct Pakie. Australia were never the same threat since Conne ly took over. Their best period coming under Deans, but it wasn't great. Cheika got the attack going for a while, and they had the best attack in world rugby in late 2014 into 2015, but defence was shoddy.

100%

He's the man to bring out the best of what's unique about Ozzie rugby.

Perhaps he is but:

4 weeks ago he backed England to win the world cup when he was coach.

Now he thinks Australia will.

I think Australia have screwed up - Eddie is passed it - He is searching for former glory.

I only wish that NZ would get a bomb under their arses as the Aussies have done.

The NZ union are bloody hopeless.

Well at least - The availability opf teams for Robertson to coach are reducing by the day.

A great coach doesn't merely "lose it".
