Cool approach from Lancaster

Big game: Stuart Lancaster

Stuart Lancaster kept his cool ahead of Saturday's clash with New Zealand after Steve Hansen suggested last year's loss owed much to illness.

In the best result of Lancaster's England reign, the home side overcame the All Blacks by a record 38-21 at Twickenham last December.

However, several members of the New Zealand squad had been struck down with a virus earlier that week, with Hansen reiterating that in Paris.

"We didn't have enough energy to compete with the English. We're hoping we don't get a virus again," Hansen admitted following the victory.

However, Lancaster responded Monday by saying: "All I can control last year was our performance and I feel we performed well.

I sometimes wonder about FAT Hansen - the hamburger and Kentucky fried chicken thief.  His excuse for the English loss at Twickenham is not even original.  I suppose he knew about the excuse for the AB loss in the 1995 WC - it must still be grating many NZ fans - so he quickly revives the Suzy scandalous non-existent argument to explain away the loss.

Can this supporter of dirty and illegal play by the AB's ever be taken seriously???

Mozart  -  my illustrious friend - is in this case completely correct and to the point.

One thing's for sure - the scouting party have not spotted Suzie or her children in London. Could Beeno be Suzie??? It's starting to make sense now.

Funny how they blame the sun and the moon and every known disease to man on a loss rather than take it on the chin and say "well done boys ... you were better than us."

That's the kiwis o f this day and age.

Bok supporters: you do realize that if the absurd happens & the Poms beat the ABs on the scoreboard they will overtake the Boks & become no. 2 in the rankings?
Time to practice your support songs boys.

All together now: All Blacks, All Blacks All Blacks...  we know we can count on your support

Just Win..Screw numbers bru..England can have number 2 but we all know they are not better than the Boks or AB's..Hell, give us number 13..Who cares as long as we beating these teams regularly. Its a farce really because NZL and SA are so far ahead of the rest right now its unreal..These NH teams can only compete on home soil, home crowds, wind must not be too strong, ground must not be too dry, they must all wear red underpants and lift the toilet seat before they run out..So many factors need to fall into place for them to win but when they come to our home ground, its no contest...Its simply a matter of them keeping the scores respectable!
Look at Wales for example..Completely bullied..They can just be thankful that SA are not as ruthless as the Kiwi's in the sense that when AB's smell blood, they go for the kill..SA let them off the hook which is why we very seldom give teams a proper poes klap like the AB's do..3 tries up with the dominance the Boks had, if that were the AB's, the welsh were staring down the barrel of a 40 pointer easy! Boks seem to make these NH games look harder than it should be. Still, the best team in the NH never sniffed our tryline in their own backyard..

another misleading title from sharkbok, but trademark stuff if ur familiar with his threads, especially his article copying abilities,

reality is hansen never once said england won due to virus, only that it effected the All Blacks.
while the article is implying that hansen is emphasizing the virus, the comment was taken out of context,,,,

hansen - "At one stage we were worried whether we were going to be able to put a team out," he said. "The whole squad had it, but that's still not an excuse. We were outplayed. I thought England deserved to win and still do."

all this talk of virus is rubbish, media always like to make more of something then it really is, and this is a perfect example, but u cant blame them, there are plenty of mindless sheep who will believe anything, plenty of mindless sharks too, LMFAO,

england were the better team on the day period. manusamoa tuilagi was unstoppable, english forwards dominated the setpieces and breakdown, and owen farrels boot could no wrong.
the one match ive been looking forward to more then any other is finally here,,,,

GO THE MIGHTY MIGHTY ALL BLACKS & THEIR QUEST FOR A 100% SEASON!!!
"At one stage we were worried whether we were going to be able to put a team out," he said. "The whole squad had it, but that's still not an excuse. We were outplayed. I thought England deserved to win and still do."

I don't know what is worse, All Blacks losing or England Gloating.
Part of me don't want the All Blacks to break any records and the other part of me can't stand England gloating.
If England draw against NZ, will they do a lap of honour around the field Ala Martin Johnson
The all blacks almost never lose, if they do it must  be a virus or something.

KingCorn: I think it best if we simplify things. How about if the ABs win & gloat. That way you don't have to worry about the Poms.

If it is not an excuse why even mention it.

It is like saying I missed the bus because the bus driver was early, although it was not the bus drivers fault.
We think we were poisoned but it was not Suzzies fault....
It was not the IRB's fault for match-fixing in the 2007 World Cup.....it was not the referees fault either..... we lost because of match fixing but we lost to the better team... R elease a long planned biography about the 2007 loss instead of just a small Facebook page rant for a day or two.
Insert next excuse: {{{......}}},,, blah blah but it was not their fault.

I agree it is not necessary to even mention it. Good on the Poms they were the better team on the day - end of story.

No excuses will be needed Beeno.
All I will have to do is change my name to "Just Won". Only a 1 letter change but it will say it all  but I am consideri ng adding "again" to  it. To be called "Just won again" will be more accurate don't you think?

Frankly I don't worry to much about what the coaches say, I look at who they pick to play. How they are developing players & the performance on the field. The rest is subject to miss quotes or down right lies.
With his win record most people will put up with a lot. The quote about Nonu's illegal tackle was not his finest moment but you can never be sure if it's his rye sense of humor

hahahahahahahahahaha too funny JW.
Obviously our friends here are stressed with the choices they have to make on who to cheer for - for England to win and gloat and become Number 2 OR to overcome their petty jeolousy and cheer for their friends the ABs to win as we did for them in the 2007 RWC (it would have been unbearable for the Poms (sorry becs) to win 2 RWCs in a row - we'd never hear the end of it).
So do the right thing Beeno et al and cheer for your friends aye?

Hakwa: yes you are right, I think if we ran a poll we would be shocked at how many Bok supporter suddenly support the Mighty All Blacks (RWC winners).
No doubt our chants of All Black, All Blacks, All Blacks... would drown out that sad song the Poms sing about a some sort of chariot - I guess they don't have cars over there.

Sharkbok, is that all you Bok supporters did after your pathetic loss to Oz in the 2011 RWC? A "small Facebook page rant for a day or two"?Envy is not a good look......the colour of the Bok jersey is getting more appropriate by the day!

Hey Justwin, Hakwa, you are just spooking the Bok supporters. Where does England winning make them no 2? I may be wrong, but currently the diffs between England and the Boks is 2.2 rating points. By my calculation, taking into account it's an England home game, they stand to get 1.4 points for a win against the ABs if by less than 15. The Boks should also beat the Scots but the points they gain are negligible.

Might be a lot closer if you let them get past you by more than 15 though.

Just_Win ... personally I don't think you have an interesting name at all. It's kinda boring ... major yawn ... don't you think?

Talking of a possible change ... why not alter it to something like "piss into the wind and don't give a fuck"

Now that's a little more interesting than "Just_Won_Again" ... you agree??
