Glad to hear this

AB players have said it in the past, now the coach is asking for it to stop. Rugby has always been about respect for your opponent, worthy or not.

im over the whole cooper incident, was over it after the RWC and took great satisfaction at seeing cooper get pwned by the All Blacks and look like he was going to start crying.
i also think that SBW is having a good positive effect on cooper and im sure it dosent bother him as much as it did in the past.

but just cos i and some of the other kiwis are over it, what right does anyone have to tell another fan to do at a game where they spent good hard earned money on tickets to watch their game???
this is something im even more against and thats someone telling another fan what to do or how to behave.
every fan has a right to boo or cheer who they want as long as its not racist what not.
and just cos coopers getting it in excess dosent give anyone else the right to dictate how they should behave, u want lecture them, fine, but buy them their tickets to the game or STFU.

the media dosent help matters either, they are always fueling the cooper/McCaw cos its an easy sell, and all this talk is going to do nothing but ensure that the booing of coopers lasts a very long time.

need to treat the kiwis consistent booing like a troll and just ignore it, cos every time its mentioned by anyone anywhere, its just another log to fuel the fire.

Cooper's disrespectful behaviour toward McCaw is unacceptable.

His deserves the wrath of the kiwi crowd ... till the grave beckons as far as I'm concerned..

IMO - in Kiwiland QC will / probably deserves what he gets... as unsporting like as it is. As a young lad I was @ the gabba when the "hadlees a wanker" cry went round... it was all in good fun (and pretty funny for that matter) but does reflect poorly on the supporters. In a way it actually showed that the aussies respected hadlee's ability as he was probably perceived as a threat... QC shares a lot of this in common. Where it starts to get a little hard to take is at a "home game" when QC gets booed by the majority kiwi crowd that share his heritage and actually have migrated to Australia to work... exactly what QC has done... Anyway the mob will be the mob and kiwi media has created this and cant see it disappearing....ever..... and Hansen the pie eater obviously just trying to feign political correctness....

Redsman he got booed in NSW because he's a Queenslander, Don't tell me you haven't heard there is a rivalry between states.

Obviously no way to prove who the 'booers' were... I would safely assume it was the majority kiwi crowd in Sydney - as much as there is significant rivalry in RL SOO - many of the Tahs are Qlders and therefore highly highly improbable that when the wobs were losing and QC comes on not too many aussies are going to be booing him especially as Toomua didn't exactly light it up. You can assert what you like on the matter but the facts are that the boo/s stemmed from the same section (~70% of the crowd) that was chanting 'all blacks' - a sad reflection of the state of rugby in Oz.

Red You should have a better chance this week against our B team i think . Especially if McKenzie switches Folau to fullback.

Lucky for you Cruden is injured or else we'd be racking up another 50 points.

We'll give him a good rest and then bring him on at Ellis Park to dazzle our South African fans.

I really hope Folau starts @ 15 as was clear that kiwis did everything to keep him away from the action on Saturday nite.... he would form a great combo with QC in attack but wouldn't be surprised if Toomua gets the nod again over QC. If Wobs go few points down early I'd say Link will be bringing on QC sooner rather than later. For the sake of Aussie rugby I really hope they contest.... and win...... however farfetched as it seems........ Re injuries to kiwis - retallick starting for romano is more of a gain than loss IMO. Cruden / Carter / Barrett all pretty complete 5/8s will be missed but dominance of kiwi forwards at breakdown helps whoever plays there - even if 4th string player. Biggest point for me will be IF wobs can gain some ascendency @ the breakdown - Hugh McMeniman (MMM) was WAY underdone for this game and aussie backrow as technically compentent NEED a bit of mongrel, size and ticker... The talk is Fardy will start there... Kane to the bench

Never been a fan of the booing thing but people will so what they will ,what do they say about sowing the wind or wot-not ? I remember the "Hadlees a wanker " thing from the Adelaide oval and at the SCG .At the SCG I saw a revolting fan offering a cup of urine to a Pakistani fielder under the guise of a cool drink ,now thats on the nose !  Some of the cricket sledging has been funny over the years  ,still I dont want us rugger fans looking like Afl or RL types hahhahaha!

In my world, you do something (good) and people pay you respect - so you have earned that respect.

You do something (kak- bad) and people pay you disrespect - so you have earned that disrespect.

Cooper fucked up big time (on more than one occasion) so the fans will give him what he earned.

The problem is that some of these players (like some of the posters on here - Saffex for example) think they are bigger than the game.  When you become more important than the big picture you are in for a hiding second to none and you deserve it!  Saffex you are a stupid contradicing prick.  You speak with forked or is it foked tongue!  Sharrup!
