With 9 minutes to go the Stompies found themselves 5m from the Hurricanes line, only 5 points down and up against 14 men . . . but their complete and utter lack of character let them down again and instead of scoring and pulling off the miracle of the season, they conceded a soft try and the Hurricanes punished them.

It was something of a miracle that the Hapless Stompies were still in touch at that stage of the game and it was only thanks to a horror kicking display by Jordie Barrett (not to mention a really strange reluctance from the Hurricanes to hand the kicking duties to brother Beauden) that the Stompies were still in it . . . at that stage they were being thumped 5 tries to 1 . . . but they had their chance to pull off a miracle and folded . . . again!

I'd day it was well done to the Hapless Stompies for putting up a better show but it was still 7 tries to 1 at the end which is yet another thumping and means they're still the blushing prison-brides of this year's tournament.

Well done Hurricanes!

Well at least they are consistent. We have to give them that.

They went into todays match with an average of 7 trys against ... and they've managed to maintain that ... so well done Stormers ... you fought them off bravely.

You still have an average of 7 scored against you per match.

Good point . . . 3 games in a row where they've leaked 7 tries!

I remember last season when the loud-mouthed Stompie supporters were having a snigger when the Sharks or Lions lost a game or two to the NZ sides overseas while bragging and beating their skinny little chests because the Stompies were beating the crap Aussie sides.

Now when the shoe is on the other foot they're in tears because they think it's all so horribly unfair that they're playing the NZ sides and their useless team of overrated mincers are getting clobbered a lot worse than the Sharks or Lions got beaten. At least the Sharks and Lions managed a win or two against NZ sides overseas last year.

So satisfying seeing these bigmouth Blowhards coming back to earth with an almighty bump!

Who was the Stormers Dummy that gave Jordie Barrett the ball behind the try line? Was it the one season wonder Carr.
Getting possession ripped out of your grasp by a kid with a girls name....

Thanks Sader, I couldn't watch the match, but expected a loss and hoped for a better performance and smaller loss margin. Obviously they learned some hard lessons in NZ...loud wake-up call. Hope they can come back to SA and string together a few good matches.

They may well be the better for having played what is now the hardest tour bar none.Or not .They seemed to have improved and were in it right till the last ten minutes.

They conceded 28 trys in 4 matches.

Being thumped 7 trys to 1 isn't an improvement of any sort.

Their enforcer at 4 wasn"t missed at all. In fact his replacement has made a strong claim for the 4 jersey ... and he comes without the funny faces.

Notsche and Duvenage spilling balls right on the Canes line with a winning try on tap and the canes with 14 men were the killiers. And to think some fool wanted Notsche straight into the Bok team. A sevens player at best.

Our loose trio is a mess....our backline too. The team is a mess at the moment. Too many small fries, and some of the big fries can't tackle for sh!t either...still hopefull for an improvement this year, but there are some positives to build on next year. Some improvements in some positions hopefully.

I watched a tape of the match today and all I can say is Rooitwitterbug = very FAKE NEWS. BwahahahhahahahaIf you want to know how a game the Stormers played in went do not ask ou rooitwit he is a biased against the Stormers.I identified the problems have last year and at the beginning of the season and have once again been proved correct.Jordie Bar RAT scored a freak try and then the gentle breezers got a try when Stormers had a yellow. Nothing much in the game really.Stormers need:Bigger mobile hookerElstadt at 7. Allende back in mix. A decent sized pacy wing to replace Kolbe on the wing. Kolbe at 9That would change everything.
Fleckie you can always ask Beeno for advice! Always willing to help.

7 trys to 1.

That says it all.

Stormers and Bulls to be cast out of the SR Competition.

Theyre both useless

...could of been a hell of a lot worse if Laumape had actually passed the ball to Aso outside him...very average game from the Canes after a bye but they still cleaned up...

The Canes didnt really crank, but its more than enough to put the Stormers away. Barretts are freaks, the Canes midfield are the strongest in NZ Hansen has to include these guys working with Barrett in the ABs. SBW looks stuffed, good news for Aso and Laumape. Crusaders vs Hurricanes next week... most likely the SR final

Very talented family.

To think that Cruden was preferred at 10 for so long. Boggles the mind.

Laumape is a monster. He has super start written all over him.

The problem was with defense and BS kicking as well is a joke back row.   Van Dyk had a good game - a promising youngster,  the other two pathetic.
Mozart are you referring to kicking at goal iro the full back?

Yeah ... he also seems to think that Bosman and Boshoff are the same player.

I would seriously rethink posting on here if I were making a tottie of myself as often as he does.

Gosh did I spell Notshe incorrectly. Well that's a blow, but at least I didn't say I would pick him without reservation for the Boks....now that would be embarrassing. .. LMAOFY!
