I know I sound like a stuck record when it comes to drop kicks but I really wish they'd devalue the points for this boring and unsatisfactory means of scoring points. People go to see rugby to see teams running the ball and scoring tries, not to see glory-boy flyhalves trying to win games with crappy drop kicks. Marnitz Boshoff first attempt was an absolute shocker as he had a full backline travelling at pace on his outside yet he chose to try and reduce a 6 point deficit with a botched drop kick instead. His second attempt also failed when he had many more positive options available.
I see quite a few of the WP Blowhards are stamping their little feet and demanding that everyone congratulates their team. These are the same Blowhards who all disappeared last year after the Sharks man-shamed their little mincers in last year's final and they all went into a collective sulk. Just go check the posts after last year's final and count how many of these same Blowhards congratulated the Sharks . . . but here are these same foot-stamping little hypocrites getting all red-faced because the opposition supporters (and not just the Lions supporters by the looks of things) aren't patting their little heads and congratulating them for something they had sweet stuff all to do with. LMAO!
Hard luck again to the Lions and well done to WP who got the job done at the end of the day. I have a feeling these Lions are going to be much more competitive in the S15 next year.
