And all the other nations were chuffed for them…..if them becoming a slight force means SA don’t have a hope in hell joining, then we’re all happy

Wales have certainly slipped down since the departure of Steve Hansen. The forward pack is far less competitive now. At this stage, Wales will get lucky to get to the quarter finals in the world cup, if they cant turn the ship around. The coach Pivak may get fired.
Eddie Jones will keep his job as time is running out.

@Sharkbok.

Steve Hansen??? Surely you mean Warren Gatland?

Wales is in for a long hard time of it. Touring SA later this year and WRU can't seem to see the forest for the trees when it comes to the regional sides. Grass roots rugby across the UK but especially in Wales is dying.

Yup, meant Gatland.
Wales are going to be hammered in South Africa. The Boks have always struggled against "Gatland's" Wales, but I suspect the script will be different this time.

Wales always come short here in SA despite ou rooitwitterbug's most fervent support. Boks never at their best after end of a long season when they tour up north.

We could see ou rooitwit jumping ship? Hahahahahhahahahaha
