They surely have, but it is rare. If the Boks can keep the score close in the first 50 minutes, they are likely to win the game. 


I saw some of the News commentary asking RassNaber if some of the players should be starting, instead of being on the bench. Sometimes it is easier in the 2nd half when there is more space, so fresh players excel.
Some like Kwagga are better off the bench as the game opens up, others just seem to be in better form than the starters. 

The likes of Malherbe and the Gingerbread man have not played well in ages, and if it was not a World Cup final - I would drop both of them.

Yes they lost the second half against Ireland a few weeks ago. But having Ox in the mix changes the contest in the last 20 minutes. Absent those scrumming penalties both France and England were likely winners.
