Have a Good one into 2024

Sadly no parties for me but I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year. 

I don't know about you oaks but I must have aged about 10 or 20 years. 

The way the boks played, with a 62% win record as the current world champs. Not to mention questionable team selection, but in the end the boks won their 4th and 2 for Rassie and Nienaber. 

You both deserve a bells. 

Everything fell into place, even with all the setbacks. What a combo. 

To win your last 3 games by in point. 

That was all we needed, 3 points to win the world cup and tiger defence. 

Those games aged me.

I'm spent

I have not hunger to watch any other rugby

However, come the first test in 2024, I'll be right behind the boks.

2024….it seemed impossibly far away once. Hopefully humanity finds a way to emphasize our brilliant minds, embrace our social nature and rise  above our tendency to demonize others not quite like us.

As I’ve aged I have assumed the right to be kind, without any fear that it might convey weakness. And in turn I have found people respond in kind.

It’s hard to discard the programming that accompanied the terrifying lives our ancestors experienced. But doing that is the key to everything
