Sacha…,shows there are acres of space on the park:

14 runs….134metres…..3 clean breaks….13 defenders beaten.

I think it was more like:

3 Tries, 37 points scored (Highest ever by a Bok, breaking Percy Montgomery's record),

14 runs….184 metres…..3 clean breaks….13 defenders beaten.

SFM had a good Game. But a terrible defensive effort from the Pumas.

ESPN has 134 metres…no matter. It’s the 13 defenders beaten that tells the story.

Next year, Sasha should play the 4 nations, and we should just keep the rest of the team on the bench if he gets injured and can't finish the game.

Sacha didn't play a whole lot this past URC season. But, as Moz and Pakie will attest to, there were a couple of games where he was at 10 for the Stompies, and we were making the same type of comments about how drastically he was affecting the game. Where he singlehandedly turns the game around and one is simply left in awe.

It'd be easy to look at the final score and call it a blowout, an easy win for the Boks. But it was Sacha that kept us in the game in the 1st half. Without his playmaking ability, we'd have come into the 2nd half trailing by a sizeable margin and under big pressure.

He really is just on another planet. Once gets firing with Williams, behind a pack that is rumbling forward...that's just an unstoppable machine.

I'm very interested to see how Rassie handles him. How Rassie embraces what is clearly our best route to success for the foreseeable future.

As Tim from EggChasers say...If you're making Rugby 2026 video game right now, it's Sacha's face that would be on the cover.

Ideally, Hanekom comes back and fires like we we know he can too. Because he's the pack's version Sacha.

lekker times!!!

SFM was really good and showed just how dangerous he can be with ball in hand. He is Talented for sure.

That said, some of the noise around him is getting carried away.

I’ve already seen comparisons to Dan Carter, which for me is nonsense. Carter proved himself over a full career at the very highest level, that’s greatness.

The same counts for Handre Pollard who has proven without a doubt he possesses ice in his veins. A BMT of note and a definite match winner.

Sacha is at the beginning of his journey, and as exciting as he looks, he still needs to show consistency and longevity in Test rugby before those kinds of statements can even be entertained.

For now, I’ll enjoy what he’s doing, but I’ll also keep my feet on the ground and wait to see if he stands the test of time.

You watch cricket, M?

You know how they show the relative run rates...

Where one team has batted and the other team is now batting. Comparing where you are in your innings versus where they were at the same stage.

The comparisons to Carter are just that. One can't compare Sacha's career to Carter's yet, because Sacha isn't done.

But we can compare them in relative terms.

That's all this is.

But, also, we've never had a guy like this. So of course we're gonna hype him. Forget reality, jump on the train with us and leave your concerns at home china!

And what about Roos's performance yesterday for the Stormers in which I had him in my fantasy selections and also had him as my captain scoring 60 points in that competion.

Mike, Roos is obviously good enough to be with the Boks.

For me, I don't like his smash mentality and would prefer him to play more like Hanekom, but he is a supreme athlete and has great skills.

I don't see anything that PSDT does that Roos couldn't do faster and better.

You best ask oom Rassie why he has been ignoring Roos.

My feelings that Roos probably failed to kiss the ring with enough vigour.

Manie has left now for Japan and he is the number 1 10 for the Stormers, but this is his first real breakout season. Teams that haven't taken note of him will now start targeting him. We saw what happened with Roos. Great break out season but can you follow it up.

Players like Pollard might not be ad flashy but the guys is a match winner. Sasha has the element of surprise.

I do hope he can continue and have that extra half second and keep it up.

But his control of the game was phenomenal.

Just had the ball on a string
