 Flayed Blooper, I thought he was vice-captain and a central figure that Ewan was building the team around. I was hoping he stayed, because then the Aussies would continue to on the next phase of their decline. Oh well, there is always Folau, I really enjoyed his one-dimensional showing last year. Can offload well, but as with all League converts, they don't have the skill set to be a complete union player.

Genia was a very good player in 2010, but nothing much thereafter. He was billed as the best 9 on the planet, I cannot see why. Australia have so many better options for a few years now!

To be quite honest, the best backline layer to emerge for Australia since Mortlock is Toomua. He solves the problem of a lack of head-on power to keep the side moving forward and freeing up their runners. They are pinning their hopes on the wrong player because they are too stubborn to learn! Mogg at 15, Toomua at 10, White at 9. Simples.
