...Meyer in a much better space now working for a German billionaire with a 34 million euro ( R566 million) budget to play with...the biggest budget of any of the French clubs so Meyer is rolling in it..
Some are saying he could start targeting Bulls players shortly but surely there are better ways of spending the cash..

A good start to the comp by his Stade Francais anyway despite playing a large part of the game with only 14 men...thrashing Perpignan 46 - 15

Putting the game in perspective - Perpignan was promoted newly to the Top 14 aand certainly not as yet one of the top teams in the competition.   Good win though

He knew he was on a yellow (albeit undeserved) already and that he needed to be careful, yet he still charged into an opponent with a leading elbow. I still remember saying to my wife, the minute he made contact with Messam, “Well that’s the end of his game”.

Clever Mike has very high standards. 47 tries in 12 tests was a clear sign that Morné was weighing the backline down, and that Meyer was a terrible coach. He did all this without a game plan too. We should all shut up and listen to Freifrau Mike von Klugscheißer.

A lot of games to go. In long championships, once a team feels the game is lost, they give up. So usually heavy scores.

Better to wait a few more games, and if possible against determined opponents.

Please keep the matter to the points raised as to the Stade Francais game - which I believe was not on any TV system in SA.  Your outburst is really uncalled for.

I never mentioned anything other than to state that Perpignan is a team newly promoted to play in the Top 14 this year and there is no real indication that they have a competitive team.   I ended by stating it was a good win anyway.  

There is no sign yet of recruitment of new players anything about the game plan Meyer is using - we will have to wait and see what happens when meeting the stronger teams and one can actually watch some of the games on TV.

Your personal outbreak means nothing and I know the meaning of the German  word "Frau"  and he other German words used - have you now descended to the level of Mozart - with his level of personal remarks.   If so I will revert to what I called you with reason in the past.   .

Stade Francais are tied in first place on the Top 14 leaderboard so great start for Meyer....... How long before South Africa beg him to come back?...

Better to give it a few more matchs. The next away game could be telling.
That said, the guy must be paid lavishly and wont go back to SA for peanuts.

I hope he earns himself a bit of money before he comes back to SA. He likely needs a fresh start and a bit of time away from SA, a much maligned coach but he wasn't perfect.

White filled Montpellier with SA players and still won only the European Challenge Cup ( a second level competition like the CC grade 1 competition) and nothing else. He got effectively fired by Montpellier because of the number of foreign players he brought in.

Meyer - despite his huge budget - can still get unstuck in the European Challenge Cup and the Top 14 comps.   Hope he can get Stade Francais into the European Champions Cup next year.  

Meyer did not import extra Bulls players - he in fact arranged for 3 three months loan players who must return to play Super Rugby for the Bulls next year.   I do think the players are in fact damaging their own performance standard levels next year since they will have no rest period at the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019.
