Welcome - we love new members and especially Sringbok supporters.
Things at least are looking a bit better with a new Multi-party Governing coalition and he chances are that in future only the best players will be selected and not anyone based only on ethinicity.
My nephew lived in Essex for 18 years and now returned to SA to allow his son to get a decent education at Oakdale - one of the top Rugby schools in SA and from there he will go to Stellenbosch University to complete his academic studies. He claimed that English schools are so affected by drugs and lack of culture as the reasons for the move. Both hima nd his wife and child are now UK citizens so I do not know what will ahppen after that. He still owns a home and flat in Essex that is leased out at present.
As to Sringbok supporters - there is a huge dividing line here. Some posters dislike Erasmus as coach and atack him regularly. Then there are people who dislike certain players and do the same with them.
Sharkbok and bec is also from the UK - Denny is living in Sidney and BB is from New Zealand - Mozart is living in that haven of safety in the USA - namely Chicago. He lives in a twon just north of Chicago and is apaprently afraid he would not dodge the gangster bullets in the city itself.
I used to live in Durban for 35 years and was a great suporter of the Sharks and when they play the Stormers I went neutral. I then moved to a small town about 65 kilometers north fo Durban where I stayed fr 15 years and then decided due to unrest and burglaryies to move to Riversdale in the Wsestern Cape Prvince - about 08 kilometers from Mosselbaai and 145 kms from George.
I am a friend of Frans Malherbe's father and also a friend of Rob Louw - both lives in a rapidly growing holiday resort near Riversdaldae - namely Stilbaai. John Smit and the Springbok lock Spies own homes in Jongensfontein near Silbaai. Will meet up with the two the end of the year.
Normally got some info from people like that.
