The only SA tams that is to play abroad still is the Lions and Sharks - one game each - the rest of their games are all local - mostly against local opposition - bar for the game between the Brumbies and Bulls on Friday and and two local games against the Rebels.
I think more or less the same scenario will apply to the NZ franchises.   So the only hope for them to cheer about will be the Sharks - Blues game this week - thereafter they will have to cheer on mostly local teams until the play-offs and semi-finals are to be played.

but im pressed for time, so heres my two rand worth on that game.

it was a good and very unexpected win from the sharks, one that no one saw coming.
as tough a loss as it was for the crusaders fortune favours the bold.

while the sharks won fair and square, it was the crusaders who were ultimately their own worst enemy, starting with questionable team selections from slackbladder.

IMO as long as teams like the crusaders, cheifs and especially the All Blacks pick thier strongest team possible, they will 999 times out of a thousand beat any any of their foreign counterparts.
andy ellis for the last month has been the form halfback with outstanding performances, but slackbladder started him on the bench.
the incumbent fullback and also incumbent All Black israel dagg was rested for no reason other then to give him a rest, i mean WTF??? o_O
granted it was only the sharks, but that dosent mean u dont play ur best team possible, cos it can all come back to bit u like it did.

jake ball tactics really paid off in this game, and it was thanks to the sharks defence which had shades of stormers of yesteryear, very clinical, efficient and patient.
this strangle hold defence forced the saders to time and time again push one too may passes and either lose the ball through turnover or handling error.

cant take anything away from the sharks, they were the better team on the day, but just like when the All Blacks lose a test like they did that one time in the last 2 years, it was shocking but like the saying goes, lighting dsoent strike twice.
just like nobody gave the sharks a chance before the match started, if the two teams were to play each other again this week, no one would give them a chance again.

its why i can say with a lot of confidence, that regardless who plays who where, the crusaders or chiefs will win the 2014 spXV.

 Interesting that so few of you SA supporters choose to highlight how the Sharks pulled off such a good victory, no analysis of the fantastic defense, the cohesive team effort, some brilliant individual play, the leadership, the decision to bring on bench players at the right time, etc.

   Geez you SA win one game in very unique circumstances suddenlly NZ rugby hs bn rocked. Is this the way its going to be now, you win one game over SA oppossition suddenlly your acting all confident and taking the moral high ground, even though you dont any right to do so.  3ku1, Sharks can easily lose to Blues this weekend..Final week of tour (one foot on the plane syndrome) has historically not been a good one for travelling teams. That and the fact the Blues will have no problems firing up for this one and they are unbeaten at home. This game will in many ways test the Sharks more than last week. We win here, we win the comp..Thats it!
Also, we would not send Vermuelen to take on McCaw and Read..Thats unfair to them two..We will send Tera Mtembu again. He has already done it ;-)

Last 10 games, 7 have been in Christchurch and 3 in Durban. Crusaders have won 7 (1 in Durbs) and Sharks 3(1 in ChCh) so as you can see, last 10 years have seen each team win once away..Sharks have played 70% of those games in ChCh so how can we expect their record to look great.
What we will need to see is 3 games in Durbs and 3 in ChCh...It will then probably be 4-2 to Sharks ;-)
