Oh yes thanks Mod for still showing the Stormers on top of the log. It just looks so right. Having only played 3 matches to the highlanders 4 we still have a better points differential.
Highanders are about to run out of luck - you cant keep winning by a point or so. I remember telling the rabid ss board bulle fans this but to no avail as they insisted a champion side knows how to win close games. Until last year when their luck ran out and they lost the close games. Hahahhahahaha it was all so predictable but when your head is in the sand you don't see much now do you.
Good to see there is some competition for the Crusaders this year Beano1 . The true test though is how teams travel. Winning away is the litmus test for teams i think and should be worth an extra point in my book. Whaddaya reckon mate ?
No doubt black udder winning away is what makes championship teams. Good sides usually win their home games but away wins are the differentiating feature of the champion side and I would not complain if an extra point was given for these wins as you suggest.
As for the abc (all black crusaders) they, like the abs themselves, are on a decline. it was noticeable at the world cup how mediocre they were. Only foul refs saw them steal the cup. France were clearly the better side and how good were France. Question is how well and quickly will the abs rebuild.
The crustacions are not off to a good start you will admit. Will they continue loosing to better teams.
Crusaders are traditionally slow starters i'll admit but mainly to give the weaker teams a good head start. Looks like your team has a good head start on everyone my friend.
Stormers are the real deal! Bulls are not looking that impressive without Fourie Du Preez, Matfeild and Bakkies Botha. They will struggle in there next 2 games against Reds and the Mighty Stormers. Steyn is lame!
As long as we stay on the right side of refs and injuries we have a chance. My view is that any side making a semi has had a good season. Wining the comp is a real cherry on the top and hopefully it happens this year but its so far off right now.
Yes black adder the crusties have started slwoly at times and its early days. Didn't they lose the first 5 or 6 matches once before winning the comp?
This might just be the Stormers year, our forwards are looking exceptionally well so far and that was all that was lacking the last couple of seasons. I can't wait for the Bulls game as that will be a very good test fot us.
You can never write off the mighty crusaders as they are usual slow starters but when it’s time for play-offs they are always a big danger

Draad it is true there is many a slip betwen cup and lip. However provided we can get and keep all our players fit and don't have thes twisted down under refs blowing us out of the water we are in with a shout and I am shouting for the MIGHTY Stormers.

As for windpomp he will no doubt rock up IF the bulle win. I understand how the guy ticks and tocks and weaves and ducks and dives. Very slippery customer ou windpomp but Beeno has always had his measure.
