Hi you lot sad to hear of the passing of Hawk. What’s news - let me guess Moz and Mike are still at it, Beeno has found wisdom and the general consensus is SA rugby is shit?
Was good to beat England, Rassie has started well, I loved the fact he blooded and capped so many players securing them for SA moving forward. He should have taken it a step further and included the likes of Kobus v Wyk, Vorster, Pierre Schoeman, Ollie Kebble, Jean Kleyn, Paul Willemse and Jacques du Plessis.
His extended squad was good but for the inclusion of Chiliboy, Orie and Papier. Bringing Faf back was a great and obvious call. I did not understand his omission of Rohan Janse van Rensburg

Hey Saff, good to see you still keeping an eye on the site. You've summed things up pretty well . I must say that the Moz vs Mike thing isn't quite as hostile as it has been at times in the post, but ja, they're still pretty much at it 24/7. I agree with you regarding Janse Van Rensburg, and now he has been lost to the North. Oh no Den, you've already brought weight into it. Can we at least agree not to include height in the discussion?
Unfortunately I did not interact with Hawkeye. Unless he spent some time here and I just forgot about it. But still sad that a fellow rugby poster has been lost to the world.

So, Ou Maaikie, we all know that in your view NH rugby is way inferior to SH rugby. That should give you some indication of how good or poor a side has to be to end up second last in the Six Nations.
Or are you trying to say that second from last in the Six Nations is a hallmark of excellence? Where does that put the side that won the title?

This minion thing is the same excuse Rooinek produced when he was losing an argument.....but it's safe to say ou Tokkie isn't likely to have a minion, even though his trying desperately to recruit Dave.
That wont work because, while Dave might lack a bit of height, he is as planted as the Northern Star (his weight helps in that regard).....he never changes an opinion because of data or any argument. In that regard he is remarkably like.....you guessed it.
But at least Dave knows rugby, or rather he knows rugby players.......lists of them. Old Tokkie knows diddly.
In any case Dave I'm only pulling your leg, let me echo Tokkie's request, come back and stay....we need more passion on this Board.

Yeah having Saff and the feisty Rooiter chatting again would certainly liven things up somewhat. Hell, they might even distract Moz and Mike enough to get over the Matfield, Steyn, Alberts, Meyer thing!!
