Amazing this 21 year old kid wins twice and finishes in the top 10 once in three starts in the Canary Islands. Forget Verreyne and  Lindani Myeni, Garrick Higgo may just be the most promising sporting talent in South Africa. This kid has length and brilliant touch....and as the commentator said ”I think he is  the most chilled out golfer I have ever seen”.

Fun to see a South African kid with all the trademark South African diffidence, yet having the self belief  to win twice in 3weeks. He now lies 5th in the race to Dubai, ahead of Paul Casey, McIlroy and Justin Rose...some company!

Nice to hear that from you about the youngster,
