The Highlanders have named a squad without Ma'a Nonu and Kade Poki for their three match tour of South Africa and Australia.
The Highlanders play the Southern Kings (11 May), Bulls (18 May) in SA and the Force (25 May) in Australia.
The Highlanders will fly out to South Africa on Sunday but Phil Burleigh will have to undergo a medical assessment tomorrow (Monday).
The Highlanders have left the following players at home : Hugh Blake, Tim Boys, Brayden Mitchell, Bronson Murray, Ma'a Nonu, Jake Paringatai, Kade Poki, Buxton Popoalii, Trent Renata, Lima Sopoaga & Frae Wilson.
