Not much to choose between the two. Given Hooker has played on the wing you would expect him to gain more metres per run and Julius to beat more defenders. Perhaps the only striking stat is Hooker’s lead in turnovers won, especially out on the wing.
Defensively they are both missing too many tackles. Those numbers ought to be pushing up towards 90%….it suggests neither are ready yet.

Cant say I’ve noticed them missing that many tackles which has me questioning those stats
They don’t miss more than the established players like Am, de Allende, Esterhuizen and Jessie
There is still plenty to come from both players - for me JJ is more gifted, more athletic with a soft touch - Hooker more direct, durable and in your face with a hard edge to him
Fair enough….time will tell.
