i would be interested to see this so called article that redman said was the NZ medias scathing attack on bulls and the eye gouging incident, cos every article ive read has had nothing to do with attacking the bulls, but reiterating what has already been reported.
ive noticed that redman is always quick to use these forums to garner support for his obvious hatred of NZ rugby and to his credit thats very smart, as its something very easy to do on a saffa site where antiNZ sentiments are always ripe for the picking. but whe u look at the facts and the lack of questioning here from some of the intellects, i am disappointed but not surprised that its going to take kiwis to defend NZ and point out what IMO should be obvious.
redmans title of his post is "hostile kiwi media attacking bulls", he then proceeds to give his opinion and say that the bulls must have some credibility, otherwise why they would say it??? he then says and i quote,,,"Typically the 'cheating bleating' crusaders have used this as ammunition for a hostile media attack on the bulls - stating their innocence and saying the allegations were false - furthermore fueling the hostility against the visiting team."
first of all, the crusaders stating their innocence and saying the allegations were false is redmans definition of a hostile attack??? i dont what really went on and the reality is, neither does anyone here, so its all speculation and opinion no matter which angle u look at it, but my two cents is, if it was foul play, then why have their been no other reported incidents like is, espcially when no other team in super rugby history has played more super rugby games then the crusaders???
and secondly, can anyone tell me how long the crusaders have controlled the media??? cos the last time i checked, the main newspaper companies in wellington, auckland and christchurch, were all owned by fairfax an AUSTRALIAN company.

"That controversy could have added fuel to the fire when the Crusaders and the Bulls square off in the elimination match in Christchurch this Saturday night, although Blackadder doused lingering flames this week by saying he and Bulls coach Frans Ludeke had smoked the peace pipe.
“I had a really good talk with Frans Ludeke about a month later. We’ve had a really good relationship with the Bulls for a long time, well before my time. They’ve been here to Rugby Park (Crusaders training venue) and experienced the culture and we’ve been over there and been welcomed,” Blackadder says.
“Certainly both parties weren’t happy with it (eye-gouging claims), but we had a good chat on the phone and have put it behind us and we have moved forward. We’ve been friends for a long time and that was one incident that didn’t need to happen.”
i do love how he thinks that a disgraceful bunch of small minded morons that run this country's media are frankly beyond all sportsmanshipm when again australia is part of those he just listed.
its very obvious to me that redmans bitterness and his eagerness to build an online posse to fuel as much hatred towards NZ rugby as possible is more then extremely rabid, afterall, he would get just as much pleasure watching another team lose, then seeing his own team win, IMO any true fan of any sport knows that watching their team win trumps everything else.
