In the Crusader-Bulls game I predicted on Superbru that the Crusaders will win by 19 points.

However, in fantasy selections on Foxsport I made a foul up.   I put De Jager on the bench and picked Whitelock in the starting slot at lock.   I should know better by now not to pick NZ locks - in general they are hopeless and no t worth their price.   Should have stuck with that opinion and start with De Jager.

At international level Whitelock and Retalluck are the two best locks in the world. I am not sure using Fantasy is an accurate measure mike.

Sorry to disagree - the only two locks always punted by NZ supporters are Retallick and Whitelock.   When Retallick comes up against Etzebeth he becomes Etzebeth's bunny    Then suddenly you see nothing of him and he tries to escape to th backline to get away from the pressure.   Even when he was with a winning team Whitelock ws seriously overshadowed by De Jager this morning,

I do not rate either of those two locks - they have not got the muscles required from a Tight 5 player.    I normally check their stats and you will b surprised how many times these correlate with what I have seen with my own eyes in matches,

I normally do not use fantasy selections to influence what NZ locks produce.   The scores are still provisional - but at this stage   De Jager has 22 points and Whitehouse 7.   If Whitehouse matched him in performance in general the difference would not be that big,   I wo uld hate to see the final count.

Ha ha, always amusing to see how deluded SA posters are. Wee Etzabeth confuses all of you - just because he's got pumped up muscles doesn't mean he's a great lock.

So how come Retallick goes running away when he has to meet Etzebeth.   I believe the Chief's will play the Stormers in Cape Town after Etzebeth's return.   I will be surprised  if Retallick does not find an excuse so as not to play in that game.

I am hopping made against myself for even considering  picking Whitelock ahead of De Jager in the fantasy comp.   It will cost me at last 30 points when the final points become known
