What happens when you take the shiest guy around and have him sit on a TV studio?
Well... THIS.
Hehe! That's one less thing in my "Future Jobs" list: TV Anchor. :P

Yes mate. I signed before returning to Argentina. I was asked to return home so I could play for my club. Then I had the enormous honor of joining the Pumas squad for training and even playing some minutes in one warm up game (you can spot me easily -- I always wear a light blue scrum cap).
I played a couple games for my club since returning. As soon as said tournament is over, I have to report to NZ for the new season. In the meantime, I was asked to follow the RC closely as injuries to some players could open up a door for me to sneak into the main squad. But I am sincerely hoping that's not the case. The guys there trained too hard and it'd be unfair to see them missing out on the action.
Cruz, you were great! Hope to see more of those!
I'd say good luck to your Pumas this weekend but I wouldn't mean it.
Bokke!
Good interview man. You're obviously a humble guy but I was wondering how you rate your chances of starting alongside Retallick next year?
Also - just so you know Tomas that it is no small thing to be named as a starting lock on Clevermike's fantasy team. It is indeed a well thought out honor and one that is only bestowed on the worthy. I don't say that tongue in cheek.
Good luck Thomas. You will of course need to do the thinking for yourself and retardlick. Bit much I know but you chose to play for the wee chiefies!
i cant believe i watched the enitre interview even though i didnt understand a single word, whats odd is i was watching it with a smile on my face the whole time??? o_O
i also think i heard All Blacks said somewhere in there though, :oP
@olecruz,
nice interview, i found u to be very humble and yes very shy, lolz, :o)
i have a few questions too if u dont mind, o,o
u were asked to return to NZ after ur club duties to report for the new season, when does pre season training officially begin???
im guessing that ur club duties will finish round about the same time as the ITM???
have u considered playing for the ITM NZs domestic rugby competition???
i dont have a one iota of a clue about argentinas top level domestic competition, but ITM might have the added benefit of a more synergised rugby timetable.
many players in the aussie spXV team have played in the ITM, as its just around the corner from australia and provides a much better level of comeptition compared to anything that the aussies have.
leilafano played for waikato and albert anae is also playing in the ITM this year.
and in the very slim possibility that ITM does become a reality, then errrrrrrrrr i hear those southland stags are an all right team for team devlopment, -_O
lolz, thats my team in the ITM, i even go back to NZ for a weekend holiday, especially when they play or defned the reanfurly shield, and i will be cheering for u big time should that ever happen, will have to come up with a catchy sign, :o)
anyway good luck with bro, meke stuff. hope that u make an appearance in the RC/4nats cos im sure we will all be cheering for u even if u play our teams, we will still be cheering for u, but prob only u, LMAO, :o)
Hey Tommy, wanna marry my daughter ?
Have a great rugby year .
Mike
Thanks mate! I am honored. It's so nice to read all this from you guys.
Oimatey
Well, Dave Rennie said he intends to rotate the locks around in the first rounds of Super XV. I guess it will come down to how I perform during the pre-season. Good performances might help me partner Brodie Retallick in the starting lineup, otherwise he will take the pitch alongside Luke Fitzgerald. What he DID mention to me is that he wants me to take on the role of an enforcer.

Hehe! Yes, I am really really shy. At first I had some issues when I made it to the Chiefs camp, but everybody was so nice and humble that they made me feel at home, especially Kahui and Aaron Cruden (who happens to know some Spanish as he is close friends with a clubmate that used to play in Waikato).
As for your other questions:
-- Pre-season begins in mid/late November. The local tournament in Argentina finishes on November 10th. I was told that I'd be given a couple weeks to rest and then take on the preparations with the rest of the guys.
-- As for the ITM, well it was brought up when I began training. This is my last year in my club (Hindú). This means I will play ITM, or at least that's what is in the drawing board. I have a door open in Waikato as some fellow countrymates had short stints playing for them. :)
Thanks mate! I of course am dreaming of representing my Nation at Test level. However I believe that I am yet to earn that right through more hard work and constant performances. I will give it my 101% hoping for that call. For now my role is that of an spectator, which is also a massive honor to me. :)
Blobbok -- Hehe! No mate, you don't want to bring such a curse onto yourself. :D
Hey we have our own resident celebrity...
A few months back i tried to follow a post with Ole... but i got quite confused.
Now it all makes sense.
Wow man. Great to know that you hang out here... bring some of your rugga partners in NZ along with you. Can you imagine having a bunch of Chiefs on here... besides Beenoes and Cleverdyke?
WOuld be awesome.
Looking good Tomas For your anchor job, perhaps one of those slick shiny grey jackets.....but then you couldn't showcase the biceps. So my suggestion is try the stubble, it works for the interviewer.
Thomas allow me to give you some fatherly advice. Ou bobboks daughter may look like my friend bobbok himself - horror upon horrors. So my advice is before you launch off get a photo and also bank account balance etc.
Unfortunately the girls in nz leave much to be desired hence both your rugby and marital propspects would skyrocket by your coming here. I mean who would want retardlick as a lock partner and the crude as a mate! Do you see how he looks when lining up a goal kick - he has mong written all over him!!
Enjoy your stay in kiwi land as best you can but begin SA negoitiations immediately.
Nice to see you around Flash!
