...five losses in a row now innit for the hapless Bulls...50 point thrashing today... just because the coach was an AB does'nt necessarily mean he'll make a good coach......Mitchell a case in point ...and Mitchell never actually played a single test for the ABs btw.......now six different coaching jobs in the last seven years so you gotta ask yrself why he can't hold down a job.....
...plenty of other examples of ABs who's skills as a player don't necessarily transfer into coaching - like Hammet with the Canes, JK with the Blues, Blackadder with the Crusties, Gibson the Tahs coach...there;s plenty cashing in on the AB jersey that are rubbish

For sure Blackadder and Hammet look really bad as during their tenure their teams never won the Super comp and shortly after they left they did.

Can Mitchell handlle the pressure before he starts lashing out at his players in the media.Still early days though. Maybe a step backward before going forward

What you have got to ask yourself is why South African teams think picking up the coaches who can't get head coaching jobs in NZ, like Mitchell and Plumtree, is going to help us beat nZ teams.

The two coaches are massively more competent than the duds passing as SA coaches and that include both White and Meyer, as well as Coetzee, De Villiers, Ludeke and Gold..
Mitchell has a massive problem at the Bulls, There are way too many sub-standard players at the Bulls - they cannot even pass Balks and the kickig game is plainly useless and inaccurate.
Mitchell will have to clear up the inherited mess and develop a usable squad, I watched the Bulls being run over by the Bulls last night and the performances of players were in general absolute BS. There are too many players who cannot play rugby - they are dim as hell - more the type of players Mozart adores.

...Anyone that watched the Brisbane Global 10s this year know that the Bulls have players that are perfectly capable...Bulls only losing to the eventual winners the Mighty Chiefs in the semifinals so don't tell me they have'nt got some good players...but Mitchell, what a joke...a very bad choice picking that twat so can't see any benefit there for the Bulls...
...am looking forward to seeing how Bulls centre Serfontein goes outside Cruden at Montpellier in the near future though ..there's another Saffa inside Cruden as well in Ruan Pienar and maybe see Steyn at 12 as well- what an education some of these SA players at Montpellier are going to get from one of if not the worlds best 10..

Oh come now, Brycy. You and I both know success won't come overnight.
Give him a little time. We'll chat later when the Bulls take another SR trophy.
Can see you lot begging him to return to the All Black fray.

Could I suggest its very early days oaks. Give the man a chance. Mitchell did well at the Lions and has a lot to offer. Will the lazy bulle be able to take the discipline Mitchell demands, the work ethic etc

Only one thing can work with the "Blou Bulle" slick hands and tackling such as we saw this morning in the AB vs Wallabies game.
