We know that the Reds thus far played 2 matches in this series. The Reds lost badly against the Rebels 45-19 - but the result was affected by the fairly early red card against Higginbotham. They then came back with a smallish victory in a match against the Brumbies.
The Brumbies record thus far looks rather dubious and problematic - they battled to win against the Sunwolves in there irst game and then lost narrowly against the Reds and lost badly against the Rebels.
Looking at issues objectively it is clear that -
* the Rebels are likely to be the top Aussie team this year;
* the Brumbies looks like the bottom Aussie team on the log this year;
However the above opens up a serious question mark as to the strength of the Reds this year, especially since their next game is against the Bulls tomorrow, I think the Bulls can beat them tomorrow since the above results ae not indicative of the reds being a top class franchise.
