Congrats Landers, but that was just too absurd for words.

Dunno if I can bring myself to watch this one....especially after the Stormers had the match on a plate at minute 77.

Landers vs. Cheetahs had a fantastic ending but the Cheetahs must be devastated. Worth watching the last quarter at least.

Highlanders scored three converted tries in five minutes for their 45-41 victory. Pretty good eh what?

..Did'nt even know that game was on otherwise i would have watched it...will be a shame to see the Cheetahs getting dropped from Super Rugby given the attacking brand of rugby they play...i'd rather get rid of the Jaguares or the Sunwolves - they put me to sleep..

Yes, this game was full of endeavor as players were sprinting all over the park, breaking tackles and trying to win it in a positive way. Cheetahs sort of ran out of steam & they had a bloke in the bin. Landers had a couple in the bin also at one point or other.

Mr Draad the Cheetahs are to be congratulated for hanging in there as long as they did !Unusually it was superior kicking for posts by a Kiwi team wot done yer in !

I have always enjoyed watching the Cheetahs games.
Although they do not always come out on tops they do play open rugby.
This game was no different.
Hats off to the win though and the Highlanders did score some great running rugby tries.
Now if only we could produce a Super Rugby team that comes a close second to them.
Well, hope costs nothing.
Congratulations on a thrilling win.

Players from the teams that are cut will compete for spots on the surviving teams so hopefully the SA teams will improve. Some of the Cheetahs players could inject some excitement .

JW you are correct the anticipated cuts can only strengthen the SA teams.
I have on numerous occasions raised the issue about the strength and skill of the six SA teams. There is only so much top class talent available and the talent is to spread out over six teams that it is difficult to field a team that meets the Super or test standard.
Hopefully, the SARU and comrades do not cut the Lions and Stormers in a desperate attempt to save the EP Queens.
Holding my breath.

Heartbreaking stuff.
They must be gutted.
They play with heart ... and so do the the Kings.
The right choice would be to keep these two teams in the competition and get rid of the embarrassments.

The Cheetahs if kept would be a very good side with an injection of talent from departing teams, and the Kings like the 2 Aussie franchises looking down the barre l are going down fighting .
