It looks like Willemse pulled a groin muscle just after he scored his try. Stormers were poor on defence today. Libbok,s defence effort or lack there off on stormers goal line, was very poor. No effort made to tackle Glasgow man. Same counts for gelant on defence. But his dummy runs, is good.

Gelant and Libbok are like Elton Jantjies, but worse. Once or twice a game they pull off an exotic pass. But they lose the ball much more often trying that….Gelant in particular turned over the ball multiple times today.

Libbok threw one long pass…for the rest it was a train wreck of missed tackles and failure to commit.

So having 3 players on the field like Gelant, Libbok and Willemse backfired. One should be on the bench. Willemse is not a 12, he should play 15.

Gelant form has dropped massively. There is a reason why he only lasted one season in France.

Libbok is a box of chocolate. None of these players are consistent players. All confidence players. Willemse had an awful game and then he has a man of the match performance.

How many more chances should a person give Libbok? Honestly he looks totally of his game. But still he is picked for the Boks?? How is that to be understood/ explained?? Willemse did score a try, but he spend to little time at 12 to be properly tested. I agree he should play 15 and that’s it. But Libbok is done he is definitely to inconsistent, especially for Bok Level. The only reason why he is picked is because of quota nonsense . Jurie Mathee or Jordan is better attack and defending Flyhalf,s.

Jordan Hendrikse made numerous mistakes today but was still far better than Manie. The major difference being that Hendrikse shrugs it off and carries on... ...while Manie feeds the Mogwais after midnight and those gremlins never leave. With the vast talent coming through in every backline position, Manie simply has nowhere to go if he can't perform at 10.

Looking at te flyhalfs in the URC matches yesterday and today the only one whio really impressed me was  Wolhutor - bearing in mind the Lions played Leinster - most of the Leonster team makes up most of the Ireland test team.

Nothing worse than a conservative rugby follower - I love the way Gelant plays the game - the lad is pure class - he is so good at putting players into space It’s risk and reward stuff but equally it lets him down at times. Yesterday saw a few of his imaginative play makes fail but so what - I love what he does Libbok was brilliant with ball in hand and his goal kicking was spot on. His defence was not dominant - too often he would get the bigger guy down but not be on him, freeing them to gain momentum Your take on Gelant and Libbok is bullshit as always

Joel Stransky said that Dobbo can't expect to win when he keeps playing players out of position.

He tried to have his "best" players on the field. Manie hasn't played for 6 weeks. Willemse had a MoM performance the week before at 10. Then Dobbo shifted Willemse to 12, Du Preez to 13, which is not his best position and Nel to wing.

When he should have just put Manie on the bench at keep Willemse at 10, but instead Willemse got injured. Libbok got steam rolled and Gelant was playing his own dumb game that nobody got the script

He was brilliant ball in hand…give us some time stamps of this brilliance. He threw one obvious, but well executed long pass….guide us to the other brilliance.

That is absolutely correct what stranksy is saying and Dobbo should correct that fast. The stormers have to many of these hot Steppers , but unluckily they lack the fundamentals. Like good defence, protecting ball possession, reading the game and thinking on your feet … Doesn’t help much if you have one brillant pass or dummy , but the rest is all falling apart. Fooled me to , but not anymore… I rather have a dependable not so flashy player that brings consistency. Gelant and Libbok unluckily falls in the Not so consistent group.

I said he was a brilliant player that because of the way he plays sometimes misfires. I said that game was one of those where his creative touches you just can’t coach did not come off He is a super classy player that is able to pull off the impossible Cooper, Fin Russell, Elton Jantjies, Cipriani, Marcus Smith, McKenzie type of player - I love them

Dave you advocate an odd  mix of physical forwards and flimsy backs. Except at 12 where apparently modern rugby requires a gorilla.

Dave

Unfortunately I never supported Jamtjies at flyhalf - and although prerhaps not as flimsy as Jantjises was at flyhalf  Libbok is not better than Jantjies was.   I think that we need an inniovative flyhalf to back up Sacha - bur unfortuntely from what I saw at lest level I do not see Libbok fits that need,   His kicking at goal under presure is just not up to the even the Jantjies standard - but that to my mind is  a major negative in Libbok's case as well.  .
