How useless was Matfield today

The Bok lineout was much better than the All Blacks lineout- even with Whitefield. Any chance OZ or the All Blacks get to take a quick lineout they take it. Teams fear the Matfield lineout. I dont think the ABS had one clean take in the first half. Rarely could the scrumhalf catch the ball, and it put them under massive pressure. 

 abs were throwing the ball in slightly crooked most of the game.

 Matfield w as utterly useless

Beeno: Check the Boks throw ins. Most teams throw it starting down the middle with a slight angle towards their own team as long as the ball doesn't travel too far towards their own team the refs consider it "straight". 
As I said, check the Boks throw-ins before you start bleating.

 Mozart obviously had the answer to the line out missed utterly by Matfield and blamed Strauss for it.   One must alwas accep that Mozart will hve an excuse fir theat bugger-up by Matfield.   His excuse is a classic - Matfield went high and the ball came in lower than it should have been.   
Why is it a classic?   Because it meets the false desription Mozart always provided to a tee.   The difference was tthat the AB Jumper wnt higher than Matfield - that is what really happened.   That bugger up cost us dearly - th sequence of plays resulted in an AB try.   
Matfield is a tired old man at the end of games and that is a fact - he generally is not physically strong enough and since he cannot last long enough - he is a serious liability for the Springboks.
