Guys, Bok fans can continue their debate on selections - endlessly - and AB fans can continue to point that we are the number 1. But this will get old fast.

The fact that we don't play each other reduces the excitement IMO.

I will run a predictions competition like we did for the RWC (Bok v ABs), i,e, predictions before each game on who will win (scoreboard counts Beeno); the actual score and point differential. I propose we do this for AB and Bok games only.

Any other ideas on how we could compare the teams and get the sparks flying between Bok fans and AB fans?

Your predictions are most welcome. If you don't tell your kids about this then there is no chance they will beat you (or me for that matter), lol

if u wanna make the Boks & ABs EOYT more interesting, then we should only be discussing the All Blacks,

after all, none of us a re suffering from insomnia and thats the only positive to come from the Boks IMO, isnt that right brother shezza???

Sasuke, the Springboks scored more tries this year than what the All Blacks have.
The Springboks destroyed Australia and Argentina with record margins, but the All Blacks never had one game in the 4 nations where they were completely dominant.
Were it not for poor defence by a few Springboks in Johannesburg the 4 Nations would have been won by the Springboks.
If anything the expansive game played by the Springboks was better than what the All Blacks offered.
The All Blacks have continuity of a coach for the last 10 years, and many of their old hands.
South Africa are just busy recovering from Pdivvy the worst international coach.
South Africa seem more like the team on the up.
South Africa now have Pieter Steph Du Toit in the mix who like Andries Bekker or Matfield is effective at Lineouts and kick offs. That other doos we had Juandre Kruger dropping kick offs and lineouts is finished

@sharkbok,

first of i was just having a little dig at shezza and wasnt really serious, but my intrest is peaked and heres a little something for u,

Boks have scored 38 trys.
All Blacks have scored 35 trys.

scoring 3 more trys then the All Blacks is impressive (especially when its the Boks, ) but context of those trys when taking into account the opposition sheds alot of light.

2013 Boks vs
italy
scotland (minus british lions players)
samoa
argentina x 2
wallabies x 2
All Blacks x 2

2013 All Blacks vs
france x 3
wallabies x2
argentina x 2
Boks x 2

when u look at the quality of ur opponents compared to what the All Blacks have faced, i cant help but lolz when u mention the Boks have scored more trys then All Blacks, especially when its only three more trys.

another thing to consider is the Boks are IMO lucky to get to play the pumas first, argentina need gametime to warm up, and with most of their players having bugger all gametime before playing in the RC/4nats, its hardly surprising to see such a lopsided result which accounted for 8 of the Boks trys in 2013 (9 including the penalty try).

"The Springboks destroyed Australia and Argentina with record margins, but the All Blacks never had one game in the 4 nations where they were completely dominant."
oh sharkbok, definition of completely dominant must differ amongst individuals, cos the All Blacks lloekd pretty damn dominant to me considering their 100% win record in the RC/4nats tournament.

"Were it not for poor defence by a few Springboks in Johannesburg the 4 Nations would have been won by the Springboks."

"If anything the expansive game played by the Springboks was better than what the All Blacks offered."
BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, good one.
Boks in eden park - 10 man rugby
Boks in ellis park - attack everything including running from ur own 22 when the halftime siren is up, only to get turnover by read and then have the All Blacks pull the trigger at the Boks lead from point blank range.

Boks are in the infancy stages of expansive rugby. they have spent my entire lifetime proving that they kick the ball more times in 80 minutes then bafana bafana do in 90minutes.
the expansive game which the All Blacks have been majoring in since the 90s, is something that Bok fans crave and i dont blame them, its why they look at this season which has been the best expansive rugby from a Bok point of view ever and then make the mistake of thinking it was better then the All Blacks.
dont worry though bro, if meyer really is looking to play develop the Boks expansive game, u will soon understand why ur comments are just silly.

its not ur fault though, ur just not use to seeing expansive rugby being played by teams u support, as opposed to us kiwis,

"The All Blacks have continuity of a coach for the last 10 years, and many of their old hands."
yup, kiwi coaches are gurus with their expansive rugby knowledge, look at the smooth transition from hansen in 2012, and then look at meyer in 2012, i mean jeebers was it meyers plan to bore us to death??? pretty smart really, cos that almost worked,

"South Africa seem more like the team on the up."
All Blacks IRB No1 ranked team for over 80% of its existence.
undefeated in 2013.
undefeated in RC/4ants having only conceded 1 championship point ever.

theres a saying that goes when ur on top, u have no where to go but down.
IMO, All Blacks are going beat that saying up like we beat the Boks. when the kiwis are on top, we defy nature and show them that kiwis can fly,

but the Boks are on the up, its just that we all know the All blacks arent content to stay where they are, by the time the Boks reach the All Blacks current level (im predicting in 2028) All Blacks will still be light years ahead.

"South Africa now have Pieter Steph Du Toit in the mix who like Andries Bekker or Matfield is effective at Lineouts and kick offs.
That other doos we had Juandre Kruger dropping kick offs and lineouts is finished"
stephanie is an awesome player all right, the perfect partner for lady elizabeth and the nancy boy duo of stephanie and lady elizabeth also has a nice ring to it,
but the reality is, thats one of the meanest locking combos out there and i cant wait to see them both in action.

dont think its fair to blame kruger for the Boks lineouts and kick offs, u should watch the All Blacks Bok tests again, cos kruger wasnt the main culprit.
