The Hurricanes will once again start their Investec Super Rugby campaign in South Africa, taking on the Lions and Bulls at their respective homes during the first two rounds of competition.
The 2015 draw will then see them return home via Western Force territory, before they take on the Blues in what will be the first of two matches played in Hurricanes regional territory.
While the locations of the two regional matches had not yet been confirmed, Wellington Rugby chief executive James Te Puni said the first of those would be revealed in the coming weeks.
“We’re very excited that plans are allowing us to take a couple of games out to our regional partners. The players and management are always made to feel extremely welcome by the provinces, which makes for a rewarding and positive experience.”
Another highly anticipated fixture on the Hurricanes calendar will be when they take on the Chiefs in New Plymouth on June 13. Following Taranaki’s move to the Chiefs last year, this is sure to create a divide among the people of Taranaki!
