This is not a result that will please the sharks. But the non warrior tribe- the chiefies - should be worried about a backlash next Saturday.
Stormers must win today and hope to top log after next week.

....Moonbean ...how many points have the Mighty Chiefs got,,,Moonbeans maths not too good by the looks....Chiefs already in the playoffs regardless....Hurricane tribe looking good to displace another yarpy team haha....does'nt get much better than that for sitting bull...
Very thoughtful of you to be thinking of the sharks sittling bulle but best you just concentrate on the crusties!
...Moonbean what happened to einstein....look like he had a face lift...to go with the boobjob i guess haha.....but seriously Moonbean, rain puddle team not very challenged going into finals whereas Mighty Chiefs taking on the best of the best.... much more thrilling by far watching the kiwis games too don't you think than the hapless yarpie plodders dwelling at the bottom of the table...
And yet the Stormers lost less games than the wee cheeefs? What gives?
...in your dreams DbDraad,,,,check the table maybe and you will find the difference is that the Mighty Chiefs have scored more bonus points being such a devastating attacking team that knows how to score tries...

It would be virtually impossible to dislodge the Chiefs from the top of the New Zealand log - but the problem is the combination log - where they yet may come in as second through a combination of factors. If they lose against the Crusaders and get a bonus point in the game - they go to 62 points. If they lose both their remaining matches they would still be on top of the new Zealand log.
With the Stormers and the Bulls there is potentially a different scenario. The Bulls at 54 could win both games with bonus points and even without same and get to 64 points. Even if they lose one game and in the process get 1 bonus point - while beating the Rebels with a bonus point - the Stormers will still be on top of the log. Problem is that over the enxt two weeks the Stormers will be able to field a much stronger team than they did yesterday and it is unlikely that they would be beaten in such a case.
On the whole the Chiefs need to win both their remaining matches to stay on top of the log - but if they lose one - they could lose their top position - especially if the Stormers manage to beat the opposing teams in the coming two weeks. In fact I give the Chiefs a 50:50 chance to be top of the combined log by the end of the round-robin games - nothing more.
Now to get back to the performance of the Chiefs yesterday. The Highlander props were patheric and that is the only reason for the Chiefs win - I was in general not convinced that they were going to win Super 15 with that kind of performance. They are not going to come up against tissue paper props in their remaining games and they better improve rapidly.
...sitting bull not greedy and will be happy with one win out of next two games as that will be enough for home ground advantage...
Oi, Shitting Bool, sounds like you already conceding defeat to the Crusties, eh. Hurricanes did'nt help your cause by beating crusties, eh, haha...
...sitting bull big Hurricane fan green bean,,, maybe we could throw them a lifeline after we deal to the Crusaders at Waikato stadium...putting three kiwi teams into the finals and shafting the sharkies...
The Crusties are still a good team, but not the same since Robbie Deans was coach.
As for the Chiefs- they are playing well. However their forwards can be beaten. I think Crusties will win next weeks game against chiefs.
A full strength Stormers team just needs to improve try scoring and will be able to beat the Chiefs in NewZealand.

Carter makes a huge difference to the Crusaders - if he is unavailable - they suffer badly, like they did on Saturday. I blelieve their play is around Carter and how he performs often determine the outcome.
I think Deans were helped along by the talents available - there are serious reservations about him in Australia and if they fail in the 4 Nations he may just get the boot.
Deans is a good coach, no denying. He just has little in the way of forwards to work with in AUS. He does need some credit for sweeping the best team in Six Nations even if the games were close. Would be a mistake for them to let him go at this stage.
