The Suncorp game may be in doubt due to cyclone Debbie. At this time Brisbane is in lockdown due to flooding and the like ,my Missus and kids have all been told to stay home along with all non essential workers and services ,no word on the game yet but if it worsens there may be trouble .It is just belting down nonstop ,thank Jeebers my house has 3 levels and is well up the side of a small valley .Our driveway is hard to get out of even with our 4 WD .Was supposed to head out to my mother -in-laws place out bush to do some maintenance on her house I also slaughter  a beast and a couple of killers for her family and friends once a year  but it looks like her hometown will once again be cut off for a while .

Hope you & those you love will be fine Wardad.
So the Reds are trying to come up with a credible excuse for getting out of playing the Canes eh... well I'm not buying it

W'daddy you seem like a resourceful person so I'm sure that you're well prepared & there's plenty of  XXXX cans & a Bundaberg in your mancave ..... & if the lousy weather keeps you awake , well then there's rugby from Africa for company.

Bon chance .

Wardad, any chance you can take a walk/swim down to Suncorp and give us a pitch report?

Jokes aside, keep safe.

Sun is struggling to get out here ,main problem now is rivers rising and parts of the Brisbane CBD may go under .One of our friends pulled 2 cars out of flood waters one with 4 kids in it ,he says people thought their SUV was like a proper 4WD .Nope it sure isnt.Forecast is for partly cloudy today and tomorrow.

We have many friends in Queensland and have not been able to contact them at this stage. Trust that they are all safe.
Wardad, you and your family and all Queenslanders are in our prayers.

Cheers Arthur JW ,we have had problems contacting family up north but got on to them this morning .Weather like this makes me glad I live in a 3 level house well up the side of a hill ,when we lived in Goondiwindi on the Qld NSW border the Macintyre river used to be a worry ,caught a big fat yellowbelly [ golden perch ] from under the slides at the playground next to our bridge !Same time walked 50 meters down our street caught a heap of fish around some gum trees !You guys see the bull shark on the road in Ayre ? Things are bad when even the sharks are drowning !
