It's the final midweek game of the tour against what looks on paper to be a very strong Hurricanes team.

Late change to the Lions bench, Jared Payne was getting headaches and has been replaced on the Lions bench by Leigh Halfpenny.

Come on Lions!

Lions 3-0 up after a Biggar penalty.

Brad Shields was a bit lucky earlier not to get a yellow for a cheap shot on James Haskell.

Hurricanes giving away a lot of penalties here. TTT gives up another one as he tackles Joseph in the air on half way. Biggar slots the penalty and it's 13 - 0.

George North puts a foot on the touchline before going over for what would have been his second try. No try.

Lions looking full value, Baboon-ou. The wee Canes looking a bit shell-shocked.

No, Lions win possession back after the hooter but Biggar tries a glory-boy drop kick from the half-way line and it's game over . Twat!

It's a 31- 31 draw. None of the players on either team happy with this result.

The Hurricanes wanted to run the ball like real men do and......
...the pussy cats wanted to drop goal (deep groan) -->unlucky bounce for Milner Skudder-->he would definitely run it back.
This Despite the ref being the 16th man for the Lions  -->u like that Beanhead and Rooi?

Some good Canes running in close, this seems to be necessary when playing the Lions style of rugby. Canes are capable of playing it wide and being spectacular but they are doing the hard yards/
Penalties are killing the Canes.

Canes gave it their all with 23 phases at the 76 min mark. Lions were all over the ball in the rucks and no penalty called.
They won't be happy with the draw as they had a great chance to win it.

While I don't disagree with the yellow for Henderson I think  Ayoub is a knobjockey for pushing for a card.
If he wants to ref the game, give the man a whistle.

Ayoub is the king of the neck roll...spotted one nobody else saw once again. Biggar is my MOM, what a gutsy player. If I was an AB supporter the Poite/Ayoub axis would be a concern.
