The dear chap has developed a new disease namely "lomp on the brain". He must have studied the man Afrikaans dictionary and somehow discovered the word there. However, he did not read the explanation given in respect of rugby. If he did he would have found two typical examples of that usage in practice:-
* Alberts falling over his own feet when he should have attempted to recover the tackle ball in the Ellis Park test in 2013
* Alberts landing on his backside in the famous Alberts -Treeby tackle scenario in the game ebtween the Sharks and the Highlanders.
Both cases are excellent examples of being "lomp" in rugby.
