Yes indeed he puts with so much but he is kind enough to tolerate it...guys lets just easeup and show decency and respect...curb the foul language....I know I've let slip.

Incidentally foul talk chases away good commentators....ie what's happened to my sweetheart rugbygal...you morons have chased her away? Probably because she fell in love with Kanko???

And all of you because you look like Quasimodo, are jealous because you are ugly and could never play rugby like him.

Thanks Sebatianchabal appreciate the sentiment. I would like to add that the other thing bothering me is the constant retort that someone else with a different idea is all of a sudden an idiot. It really is frustrating and plain and simply awefull manners. But that is just me.

I was waiting for you to pitch up, Ek!!

To think that this site used to be a dead site ... with a hand full of posters ... posting once a month ... compared to all the traffic you see now.

Must be quite a shock for you and rugbygal, to see how this site has been given life, huh??

Knowing you, you'd probably want to take it back to those days, huh? To when you guys were holding handies, telling each other just how much you admired each other ... right???

To use foul language is one thing but to throw one's toys out over words like idiot or moron or  retard is absurd.

There is a whole lot more rugby been discussed on this site than there ever was. We even have an assortment of international posters here ... yes I know they're retarded ozzies and sheep shagging kiwis ... but still they bring the site a little character. .

I doubt they would want to stay if all we ever post is topics of how wonderful we all think we are.

So here goes, Ek!!!

Shut the hell up, you friggin retarded ass!!!

Take you handy holding ideas elsewhere ... ok??

Sorry about rugby gal but I think she was not getting enough attention soshe buzzed off?

EK never get upset by the uncouth. Generally its not too bad here if you look at other rugby websites. Ou rooitwit is about as far down as we go but that's also an IQ problem! Bwahhahahahahahaha

You get sensible folk and not so sensible - nothing can change that. Some folk like to banter and some not - lets all be sensitive to that.  What chances!!!!!!!

Cleancut -- the way you treat other peopl says alot about you as a person. If you are willing to insult other peoplet to make your own point valid then so be it. I do want to refer you to a a psychologist in that case. As if that is the way you go through life you really won't amount to anything. Your value system caries you as a human biang, and that remark you just made says alot about yours.

This is the best chat site for Bok rugby raised from the dead. The moderators on this site have not become tin pot gods, trying to impose a code of conduct. As a result things blow up and then they blow over.....we are entertained, which is the only purpose of coming here. My own rules are....an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth ( yes mine are still in situ).....no insulting of posters' religion or political beliefs....no posting about family.....a friendly hand to new posters.

Mozzie dear friend...this is a rugby forum but rugby is NOT more important than the life of a mans soul.

Because I actually love and feel for you guys (no I'm a heterosexual guy that's normal that likes and loves women only in the right way and likes guys as my chommies).

This forum, site is about rugby, the feel about it and the statistic tics...it attracts all types ...that’s good but the spirit and soul of the team and individuals (except for basics) is never discussed or understood. Maybe it's a bit heavy for some...coaches face huge problems...big heavy guys with very little education, and guys that are not so heavy with skills, other heavies have that education but are not creative.

How do you coach these guys...it takes great skill and mentored time and real dedicated mentors to do this.

Appologies Rooinek if you saw it that way, Did not mean for it to come over as presumptious. I was thanking him for raising the topic. Some people might find such behaviour accpetable. I don't. Not in any social interaction.

There is a saying in afrikaans. "Wat die hart van vol is loop die mond van oor."

If you are happy that in a social interaction(which this is by the way) It is okay to go around insulting people and using fould language, your bel;ievability in such an environment goes out the door.

Some people don't seem to understand that concept, or have not grown to the point where they can see it.

"Some people don't seem to understand that concept, or have not grown to the point where they can see it."

Ek, how is your above statement any less insulting than the more common "you're an idiot" kind of insult?

Your insult is more veiled and vague and you're not naming specific names but telling someone they haven't grown up to the point where they can see something is not significantly different from telling someone they're an idiot. They're both demeaning, perhaps to different degrees.

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you, Ek, but we all insult others at times and all this hand-wringing about who's insulting who is getting a bit precious now. People should get over themselves. This is a rugby message board for goodness sake! Of course you're going to get insulted and if that upsets you then you should go find a very strictly moderated hand-holding message board . . . because on this (and any other normal message board), if you're going to bleat when someone insults you, you're just going to get insulted more often.

Just look at SmallCock's tantrums as an example. The only reason he gets provoked into saying all that stupid macho and foul-mouthed bile that he comes up with is because he's so easy to provoke . . . and everyone else knows it. By the same token, the crybabies who always have a whine when they're insulted are more likely to be insulted.

I do agree with you on the foul language though. I've always believed that foul language is the result of a weak vocabulary. Why call someone a c*nt when you can call him a cretinous recidivist troglodyte?

 Rooinek.

Firstly, calling someone out on evidence is a totally different thing than going around calling people insulting names just because you dont have the ability to stick to an adult conversation or are incapable of having such conversation without the use of crude language.

I am just stating evidence. I also don't have that large of an ego that I am unwilling to appologise to anyone if I have insulted them, it happens we are human.

But to answer your question, there is a HUGE difference. The one is socially accpetable the other is not. I am not insulting in that context. I am providing facts.

Just an addition:

Maybe if i painted a picture my point would get across better:

Scenario 1:

We all sit in a boardroom waitning for a meeting. Beeno (Beeno, just using you as an example not intentionally aimed at you) walks in. Here knocks off a few crude words. we sit down the meeting starts. every idea that he doesn't agree with he shouts down and calls the innitiator an idiot. How many people are actually going to listen to him the day he comes up with a great idea?

Scenario 2:

We sit in the boardroom. Beeno walks in, he greets everybody in a freindly fashion. the meeting goes on. He disagrees on some points clerly states why others don't agree with him. He has made his point though. Next time he comes up with a great Idea. How many people will actually listen to him.

The point of the little scenario is that behaviour creates credibility. Some of the behaviour I have seen (and this is not just restricted to here) creates a rather bleak outlook on firstly the credibility of said person as well as his/her social social interaction.

From there the outlook. In the hope that it creates personal growth.

Okay, I think I get it now. So in future if I think you're being an idiot, I won't say "Ek, you're an idiot", I'll say "Ek, you haven't grown to the point where you can see you're being an idiot".

Is it still okay to call Baboon-ou an idiot? I mean, that's just providing facts, not so?

Rooinek If i was an idiot and you can support it with evidence. feel free. Dont just blurt it out and call me names just cause you can't think of somehting better. that is insulting.

If you saw behavior in me that you don't like or goes against you rvalues. call me out, but the evidence will be there for anyone to see. That is not insulting, that is proving a point.

HUGE difference. Hope you get it now.

What is evident on this thread is that you'd like to believe that it's possible for rugby fans supporting different provinces and different national teams to politely disagree with one another without ever resorting to personal insults.

I'm saying that I don't think your ideal is possible without very strict moderating (which would probably drive everyone off anyway) and if you honestly believe otherwise then you're probably . . . . ummmmm . . . an idiot.

I'd also add that I don't think I'd bother with a message board that was one big polite and hand-holding circle-jerk and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Half the attraction of message boards like this is watching flame wars and seeing people unravel. It's like some of the reality TV that people find so entertaining . . . you don't have to be a moron to enjoy watching people behaving like morons, do you?

You hve not insulted me here CC. However your manner does not go down well, Starting with that crude avatar. It says alot about you, and nothing positive. You have disagreed. very rudely but you have. so no I don't feel insulted. There is nothing self rightious about it.

And no it's not bullshit, you clearly have not sat in enough meetings.

Clean up your act boet. It will help you in future, as well as in your career.

And that is not an insult. It's advice.

Rooinek: "I'm saying that I don't think your ideal is possible without very strict moderating (which would probably drive everyone off anyway) and if you honestly believe otherwise then you're probably . . . . ummmmm . . . an idiot."

Agreed.

I don't expect people to be polite all of a sudden. But that does not stop me from stating my point. Weither you agree with me or not. You do understand where i come from.

And there are certain behaviours that don't go well with certain people. It has nothing to do with bieng high and mighty. everything to do with how likely you will be believed next time you have a good argument.

Ek your wasting your time with this Jalepino/Rooniek waster.

His whole goal is to turn this forum into some type Jerry Springer/Jeremy Kyle Reality Fantasy that he has.

His attraction of message boards is to be a moron on a reality TV show- like he states.

He is probably a member of lots of sport and other type of forums sitting, and in some dead end job with an internet connection and this is how he gives his life purpose. Most people see him here for the idiot that he is, and zero contribution to this board or life in general.

He is a 50 year old man that has created childish names for everyone on this board. It is best just to ignore him and he will eventually get lost and find another forum of people to annoy,

As for Cleancut he is either Jalepino with a different alias, or some other tosser.

Argumentative.....the term "everyone" is colloquially used to indicate a lot of people in this sense. "Everyone" who speaks the English language understands that. Except it appears....you. Here's Leonard, perhaps that will help: - "Everybody knows that the dice are loaded Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed Everybody knows that the war is over Everybody knows the good guys lost Everybody knows the fight was fixed The poor stay poor, the rich get rich That's how it goes Everybody knows"
