There is one topic that we discussed since it is a topic often raised on this site.   I asked him for his opinion on Rassie Erasmus as a coach and he said to me just in word.    Genius.

This from a player who were coached by Meyer and Coetaee - both at the Stormers and as a Springbok and what he thought of them indicate their mediocrity as coaches.    So here e have from a player who did play on provincial and international experience on the one hand and two rugby ignoramuses who keep attacking Erasmus and Nienaber.  They were and are working closely together - even when Erasmus staye dion SA - they were having daily communication on issues.    Playing the one off against the other is just plain stupid.

I asked him about the two Aussie tests and said the fiorst one the players did not quite understand the awarding of penalties but felt that they do not criticize refs but he was a bit of a problem for the team.    He said the team malfunctioned in the second test.   Two test losses against Australia will definitely not happen again.

Interesting response on issues though.

Chartered Accountant Cobus Visagie said the same thing about Rassie as have many others. The man is a fist class rugby brain.

Moz and the org showed their lack of objectivity by trashing The Boks and Rassie even as they went on to win the RC, RWC and a Lions series. Their take of PSDT was a disaster and Du Toit was named Rugby player of the year.

We continue to hope Moz has a return to sanity nd the org experiences what being sane means with regard to rugby. According to the org the Boks are big but weak, Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahhaha hilarious stuff from the org.

There is no doubt that rassie is good coach and rugby brain.....but chatting over zoom thousand miles away is not the same as being with the team.....there is bound to be communication gaps on zoom....would be good if rassie is more with the team...but otherwise we should not forget that rassie& niebies got us back from those dark days where the AB use to beat us with a cricket score.

Genius….hahaha….that guy couldn’t pass Matric mathematics. A charlatan who has totally messed up post Covid rugby…,,2020 RC not played…..the Lions reffing debacle…..the 2021 Rugby Cup last place finish, the Bargies don’t count.

Using Coetzee/HM’s team

No new tactics

Declining backline skills

Massive reliance on a few players.

If that describes a genius then Harrassmiss is a genius.

Where's the product of this supposed genius? The Boks are bottom of the log everywhere they compete under Josè for production. What does that tell you. Very mediocre track record everywhere he has been. Strip away the work of Krutch, and what are you left with? Malfunctioning attack. Sure, genius. The only genius of Josè is to string Krutch along all of these years. A mediocre coach in every respect. Manipulator and narcissist.

The players in Chasing the Sun called him a rugby genius, his Irish assistant coach at Munster is on record calling him a rugby genius but more than anything his record tells us he is a rugby genius It takes a class coach to take a side from 7 to 1, win a test against NZ in NZ, win the RC, the WC and the Lions series As soon as Rassie was no longer physically with the side we lost 3 tests in a row Rassie is a rugby genius - best coach we have ever had

Mike you’re lucky Malherbe never ate you while he spoke! Any person that can’t see how amazing Eassie is, is either an idiot or Clive Woodward.

So here’s an easy question if you were a Bok player talking to motor mouth Mike….would you say he had just made a fool of himself, which no doubt the smarter team members think. Or would you just use the description that flatters him most.

Get the answer right and I’ll buy you a virtual biscuit.

Says who BSting  Kinderarftin Imbecile?   But then Er5asmus was never fired  effectively from any posiition   he occupied and those include White, Meyer and coetzee - all three of which you rave about.    Besides that White also breached his contract with the Brumbies and is not highly rated by the Ausies,     Same goes with Montpellier - where his contract was not renewed.

It's simple: The conversation never happened. Instead of disputing the contents of the fictitious event, as if it were an event that would make a solid case for José anyway, we should simply be seeing it for what it is: A man who doesn't have much to defend his hero, so going to lengths to create the narrative that the players are happy with him, so that must mean he is the best coach of all time. Ludicrous.

I told him what Mozart and you think about Erasmus and he burst out laughing.  I then asked him how he rates Erasmus as a coach.    Please note that when I discussed the same issue with Rob Louw - his reaction was exactly the same.    I had to point out before that without naming your user names -  since if I repeat  without doing it - they might think I am as idiotic  as you two are.

It's irrelevant what you or your imaginary friends think of José. His work is in the open, and freely evaluated. You, and plastiks like you, have this childish belief that if you can find a person who says otherwise, then all is well. It isn't. You cannot prove otherwise, the feeble quotes you spout can provide no such refutation. So you end up back where you started: A fanboy who cannot accept criticism towards your hero. If the likes of Wayne Smith, John Kirwin, Laurie Mains, Clive Woodward, Graham Henry, Ian Foster all think the Springboks are stagnant, and playing terrible rugby that is bad for the game, there must be something to it. If we want to get into a battle of credible sources, you lose this one effortlessly. When Malherbe can stop belly-flopping, I will take him at least a little more seriously.

‘Frans I’m about to post on Ruckers Forum, and I thought I’d ask you, do you think that Erasmus is a rugby genius?’

‘Well we all just wish a real water boy would come on the field, it’s thirsty work’.

‘I take that as a yes?’

‘Anybody who can get away with being the head coach and not travel with the manne has to be a donderse genius hey?’

‘Thanks for confirming that Frans, hoe gaan dit met jou?’

‘My maag is nog steeds a bietjie seer, maar ek kan nie kla nie. Oom jy moet my nou verskoon, my steak is nou lekker pink. Luister ‘n bietjie vir Mozart en Augie.’

‘Hoekom Frans?’

‘Hulle glo nie al die strond nie’.

Lots of sounds of knives and forks. And laughter in the background.

My word the lunatics who have been after Rassie from day one and have been severely embarrassed ever since are getting ever more unhinged.

Bok fans appreciate what Rassie has done and don't give a damn what squeaking buffoons rave on about.

6 points separated us from another RC win. Yes there was a hiccup with Rassie not being on tour but the second test win against the ABS was well deserved and should have shut the mouths of these anti Bok bigots.

Every time the Boks win its because the opposition is no good. Bwahahahahahaha.

These clowns have dug themselves a hole and there is no getting out.

Best zip it you halfwits!!

I phoned Frans' father this afternoon and he told me there is no certainty on the EOYT issue.    Frans will see the specialist this week and the chances are that he may yet tour.

I hope that answer the questions of that venomous snakeshit Mozart to the full.    No wonder Fran s did not mention it - he still hopes to go on tour.    it will only be known this week whether Frans will tour or not.

Mozaart

I asked Frans when they are leaving for the EOYT and he told name within the next 14 days.   He did not mention anything about a neck injury and said he is going with the team.     They have to be in a bubble before they can play.    Nice newspaper story is now factual - that is all the two village idiots thrive on.     His wife also confirm he is leaving within 14 days anyway.   If he was indeed out he would have told me so.

So Frans said he was leaving and his wife confirmed that…..meanwhile the truth now is ‘the chances are he may yet tour’.

If that’s all true, you were obviously misled.

Case closed.

The fact is that I spoke to Frans Mahleber senior this morning.   Frans saw the specialist and he said that if he start playing too soon he may end up needing an operation - so his advice is not to go on the EOYT this year.       .

Li9sten dimness

The Malherbes have been close family friends for generations and I have known the children from the 1950's .  Frans Malherbe senior was in the same class as I and we have been friends since then.  Frans Senior married late and was already over 50 years old when Frans was born.

Now let me explain I am often in contact with the Malherbe family and as it was my brother was  taken to the old age home clinic part last Friday and was seen by a specialist on Tuesday.   He was then moved to the hospital in George - where he was operated on this morning - so I phoned Frans to inform him of the operation and asked him about Frans Junior - because  he felt optimistic that he would go  on tour.    Must be disappointed by the advice  of the specialist - but the nice guy Frans junior is - will always accept the verdict of the specialist.

Mike, just a friendly suggestion, I don't think it was very wise sharing personal and intimate details on a public forum of a family that you are close with...I'm not sure they would appreciate it. It's rather like "casting pearls before swine as they will trample them under foot and turn and attack you "

They don't appreciate or value things that are precious to you and call them "pablum"

We' ve previously seen how a certain poster even probed the internet to get personal information on another poster's family.
