for a replay of the Bulls game before I made comment as the game was played in the early hours of the morning. I'm not knocking the Bulls for the sake of knocking the Bulls but that was a poor performance. If it wasn't for the indescretions of the Ref they would have lost and deservedly so because the Crusaders were the better team by a country mile. What concerns me is that the Bulls have no pattern of play and rely purely on their physicallity. They were too easily beaten at the breakdown by an equally physical Crusaders and their set pieces were par for the course. Other than Hougaard, the team needs an injection of life as the Crusaders too easily crossed the gain line. Defensively they were ordinary.I hope this is a one-off because their performance the week before against WP was far better. I daresay had they played the Crusaders away instead of at home they would have lost.
