Nobody is passionately advocating for their team. Why I wonder. I have started laying out a Bok team a few times and stopped. There are a few obvious selections Pollard, Wilco and Kitshoff....and then a group of uninspiring choices. So many players likely to be chosen even though they have failed before many times.....Allende, Kriel, Kolisi and others. There are almost no positions except perhaps for lock, where we have the luxury of competing test talents....it's depressing. So perhaps this is a no mas moment....the Bok fan saying it's not fun any more.....too many tests, too many tests lost, too many journeymen Springboks, too much political interference.....too much BS. Whatever the reason, there isn't the energy about the whole thing that there should be....does anybody give a damn anymore?

It's the same old racist BS that we've seen over the last 10 - 15 years and it's picking up momentum.

I've resigned myself to a quota riddled team ... to more embarrassment ... to many more losses ... and to another thousand excuses and lies from the coach and those in charge.

The black man has fcuked up our game and there's nothing we can do about it. Everything he touches turns to sheeeat!!!

Most of my mates have given up on SR. We're just tired of it all.

The problem is that some serious house-cleaning is necessary after three years of total foul-ups by Meyer and Coetzee.   Nobody really knows what Erasmus is going to do and any guessing is made very difficult by the quota system.

One can only hope that we are past the reputation BS of the past and the selection of non-performers will not happen in future,   Unlike Meyer and Coetzee, Erasmus do have an idea what is expected of players before they can be selected and I am going to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Was on youtube yesterday and watching some of Jacque Fourie's runs.

Looking at how we used to play, compared to now, i can't help but be uninspired. The Lions were a bright yet brief light in what is otherwise a dismal landscape. .

That's before even taking political picks into consideration. 

We'll have to see what Rassie does. 

Not sure he'll be able to polish the turd that is SA rugby at present though. Not yet anyway. 

We'll probably see a lot of disjointed play and this year will be put down to rebuilding. 

So yeah, more ass kickings and more depressing Saturday evenings lay in wait for us this winter

SA squad is less and less a marketable brand. It failed to take the professional turn. EN already regretted to have to play that tour and others involving SA as it will not make much money and does not participate to the promotion of rugby worldwide.


SA is that nation that has failed to train one single decent quota player over the past 25 years. It comes with consequences.
