There can be no doubt that AB de Villiers is the best batter in the world and Dale Steyn the best bowler.  AB made 68 runs from 29 balls - what areal champion.

It was a gripping match and there were some real anxiety until the last over when England had to make 22 runs from 6 balls.  They made 18 and lost the match by 3 runs. They lost a wicket from the first ball  - then scored top single runs from the next two balls and then needed 20 from the last 3 ballls.  Steyn was bowling and I think with the last three balls he wanted to make sure he did not bowl a no-ball or a wide so he bowled some sitters, allowing f or the scoring of a six, a four and another 6.  However by the third ball of the final over the match was won, so we are through to the semis.

Both England and Australia cannot qualify anymore - even if they win their remaining matches.

Looks like it will be SA and possibly SriLanka going through from Group A and India and either Pakistan or the West Indies from Group B.  We would likely meet India in the semi-finals.

Perhaps you should look at the stats and rankings......yes I agree with you that Warner is hot right now but AB and Dale have been consistently good for a number of years while at the same time  it must be remembered that Mitch suffered a form slump.
